Blasey Ford did provide her therapists notes describing the incident with Kavanaugh although she did not mention him by name in the therapy session. She also admitted to having a single beer prior to the incident. Kavanaugh's teenage drinking habits are relevant for two reasons. First he apparently had a reputation for being more aggressive when plastered and perhaps more importantly he also a reputation for drinking to the point of blackout a factor which goes directly to his ability to recall specific events while intoxicated. As I previously stated (and was also ridiculed for stating) that it's very possible that Kavanaugh was so intoxicated at the time that he really is incapable of recalling alleged assault recounted by Blasey Ford.

You think she was rehearsing for a senate hearing all that time?

Judge’s book is irrelevant to this accusation. Does his book allege an attack on Ford? No? Then what is the RELEVANCE? Character assassination? Judge would tell the FBI to go pound sand. You have my sworn statement. I didn’t do it and was never at that party with Ford. Goodbye. You are obviously operating from the guilty until proven innocent standard of proof.

So give Kavanaugh an anal probe over his entire summer and talk to all his friends from his school, over an unsubstantiated allegation where all the alleged attendees but the accuser fail to recall the party? And the accuser can’t even provide a location and date. Seriously? Let’s start the inquisition. No proof of a crime, no problem, we will search and search and turn your life inside out. Not even close to probable cause here. Just a witch hunt since he is obviously guilty. This is ludicrous.

Hell, why not question everyone who was in that area in 1982? I am sure you would have no problem with that. It would only take until after the midterm elections are completed.

What a trite and misplaced comment. You do our profession proud. It has absolutely nothing to do with guilt by association. But you knew that.

The point is that there is a starting point to investigate because you have a nice tidy list of potential witnesses and defined social circles. If that doesn’t lead anywhere then you have your answer.

Again, it’s not guilt by association. This isn’t a difficult concept.

It’s a great resource for identifying people in the social circle to find more potential witnesses if it occurred and if they exist. None of us know if the incident occurred or if there were other witnesses.

Do you remember who taught you to play quarters 30+ years ago? I don't. A lot of "I don't recall" answers won't be not credible in this case because of the amount of time that has gone by and especially with Judge whose brain was probably fried over his lifetime with all kinds of intoxicants.

BS. The Dems on the committee want Judge to testify because he is a provocative conservative writer and they are dying to call him a racist and a homophobe and then they will say Kavanaugh is one as well since he hung out with Judge.

Do you think BK was part of a gang rape team in HS? If you answer "possibly", I'll answer the same to your quoted question.

Were these questions really asked by Senators at his confirmation hearing? I think he would have been better served by refusing to answer questions about frat slang and calling the senator an unserious idiot.

She did not, I repeat, did not provide them to the committee. The woman questioning her asked for them, and Ford’s attorney said that they were privileged. I just pulled up an article where Ford’s lawyer said the notes WOULD NOT be provided, but they did publish the polygraph results. Those are not the same.

So any evidence that would contradict or disprove her “official” story is being buried. The writer for the Washington Post, however, did get to view a portion of Ford’s therapist notes before writing the article. So while the article states what the writer saw about the therapist notes, the therapy notes were not provided to the committee.

An unnecessarily broad net (his HS yearbook????), and someone else's confession to being a,drunkn slob (the book), whos only value is guilt by association.

Its nothing more than salacious, and sheds ZERO light on what MIGHT have happened between doc ford n kav, some where, somewhenever....

    But you knew that too.

Yes because there will be tons of evidence available of a nonrape that happened 35 years ago. The other two women who made claims have disappeared since their claims were comically fabricated.

Those notes better be turned over to the FBI this week. If not, end the investigation and have the vote.

So identifying hearsay witnesses that are not admissible in court. Burt told Larry told Sally that something happened at a party. So Sally is a reliable witness about the party over the actual attendees? Especially when Burt has a sworn statement saying what party?

I'm not making leaps or accusing anybody. I'm trying to make sense of everything I've heard pro and con to see who might be lying or not lying. But I ought to just keep my mouth shut. That's your vision for America, right?

    I'll be damned. Makes sense.

Noting it has f#all to do with kav/ford, and all to do with guilt by association.

They are not. I believe the attorney for Ford was pretty emphatic that the therapy notes wouldn’t be provided.

    Edit

From Ford’s point of view, I understand why her legal team doesn’t want the therapy notes to come out. Nothing good can come from them, only bad things that undermine her credibility. From a view of seeking the truth, those therapist notes are extremely important in evaluating the credibilty of her testimony.

At a minimum, they need to be provided to the FBI investigative team.
