LMAO! You think his responses to shit about high school--piddly shit written in a HIGH SCHOOL YEAR BOOK--is sufficient to buttress a claim of perjury? Good luck with that kid.

You've obviously bought in hook line and sinker to the bullshit your beloved party has sold you...

And btw, Dr. Ford lied through her teeth. Material lies, about material things....

And ain't no one bother'n with 'perjury' over her either.

Y'all have become so pathetically desperate, it's embarrassing and pitiful to behold.

    C'est la vie.

What a glorified banana republic. Someone should write a good book on how this country got to where it is. (Or has it been written? Any recommendations?)

She directly identified Kavanaugh and explained the biological process as to why the memeory is seared into her brain. Trauma and Kavanaugh was laying on top of her for awhile. You either believe her or you don’t. This is not a mistaken identity case. Kavanaugh’s shoutong yesterday sent a clear message to the other alleged victims not to come forward. Lindsey Graham’s accusation that Dr. Ford’s accusation was a sham was a loud message that the accusation was a politicized lie. Every woman should watch Graham’s speech and understand how white men in power view their complaints of sexual misconduct. Better have pictures. Dancing around this with talking points is nonsense. There was no appropriate gathering of background information on Dr. Ford’s or the other complaints because the President and Republican Party did not want one. The nonsense that the committee has the staff and resources to do this or that the FBI does not reach conclusions is a false talking point. Gathering information leads to conclusions by the people who make decisions. It allows for focused questioning. The majority on the committee simply did not want the truth and that was evidenced by the last part of the hearing.

I am curious how many women posters we get on this political forum on a college sports board.

Why are you so worried with what Judge may say when Ford's friend that was supposedly at the party with her has said she has no knowledge of a party in which Ford and BK were both there?

Are the proceeds going into her pocket or will the funds be used to publicly support her case? According to one of the the GoFundMe sites, the funds will be redirected for these purposes:
Click here to support Honor Dr. Blasey as an Educator organized by Heidi Feldman
Heidi, who ran the other large campaign for Dr. Blasey, is now raising funds to create a scholarship in Dr. Blasey's name.

TIME’S UP Legal Defense Fund connects those who experience sexual harassment, abuse or related retaliation in the workplace or trying to advance their careers with legal and public relations assistance.

Apparently some of the funds will be used to offset the cost of security for Blasey Ford and her family. I guess that could be considered a direct benefit but I'm not sure that it could really be considered money in her pocket.

If those funds are going to be considered a direct financial benefit to Blasey Ford, the million dollar plus PR campaign by conservative organizations on behalf of Kavanaugh's nomination should probably be considered a direct benefit to Brett Kavanaugh.

Ever had your deposition taken? I have in a malpractice case (not against me), and had an attorney who went after me with everything she had. I thought it was hilarious and answered everything forthrightly and calmly because I knew that I had nothing to hide. It obviously isn't that same as what Kavanaugh went through, but it isn't that hard when you know you are right. I let her say and do whatever she wanted until she got to the end and asked the actual relevant questions, at which point I struggled not to start laughing when she realized that her case was dead. They settled the case the next day for policy limits. I understand your point and it is entirely valid. Nonetheless, his composure was not consistent with someone who had nothing to hide and was in the right.

She said in the hearing yesterday that good people in Palo Alto had paid for her security.

The NYT article I linked (assuming it hasn’t been edited since I read it last night, I didn’t re-read it) says that the funds will be provided to her.

It's not a matter that's up to any reasonable level of interpretation.

Everything I cited was a fact either wrt his intentional misrepresentation of the other witnesses statements (which as lawyer and judge he is intimately familiar with), or to his intentional misrepresentation of the meaning of boof, ralph, devil's triangle (which I left out), and Renate Alumnius, as well has his over the top protests, interruptions and deflections typically indicative of somebody who's lying. Especially in the case of someone who is a career jurist who's been through proceedings like this several times.

And his friends must have gotten a real hoot about his claims to virginity for several years after high school. Of course, maybe if he was just "boofing" he didn't count it, because he wasn't hitting the right spot.

In this process I would settle for someone, hell anyone, that was at this party could back her up. Her own friend said he wasn't at a party with them. You dont actually care about Ford, just that the Dems are losing and looking bad while doing it.

Yes I take your point. Ben also touched on this idea above, and agreed that it’s a legitimate concern.

Of course, I also think there is another perspective here. Many on the other side see the Republicans as trying to quash an investigation into a case that should be more carefully considered.

It’s probably a little of both, and unfortunately it appears that the system isn’t set up very well to take care of the the victims here (Ford and/or Kavanaugh).

At this point in the circus the Democrats have done their damage. Their despicable, sleazy tactics are in full display to anyone who understands the confirmation process. My firm belief is that an FBI investigation will be worthless. They received the letter some time ago, looked at it for what it is, a totally uncorroborated accusation, and ruled correctly that their investigative resources are better utilized on legitimate investigations rather than looking into a Democrat wet dream. Then they can look at the statements of the named witnesses and see that they have all denied either being at the party at an unknown location, on an unknown date, at an unknown time or they deny any knowledge of said accusations. The original accusation is extremely weak, the subsequent two are even weaker. My suspicion is that any future accusations might not even get the Creepy Porn Lawyers attention.
Here’s my proposal to Trump: Ask the FBI to take another look. Since they have already reviewed all of the ACTUAL evidence here, it shouldn’t take long. At the same time, Majority Leader McConnell should finally earn a paycheck and begin censure hearings on Feinstein and any other Dems who were involved.

Next Trump can spend the next month popping around the country to all of the contested congressional races and hold huge rallies that thousands of people will attend and drag these POS Democrats out into the open and have them looking for new work come January.

If the Dems want to play dirty, then let’s play dirty.

The midterms can't get here soon enough. I've got no use for either of the two political parties as they exist today. That said, I hope the Dems win in landslides. Sickening people like Donald Trump and Lindsay Graham deserve no less.

Her friend did not say that. Kavanaugh intentionally lied about what her friend said.

Her friend said she did not remember that party, but that she believes Ford. That is specifically what she said.

What I care about is that we don't put a known liar and someone who may also be guilty of sexual assault(s) on the Supreme Court.

I supported Gorsuch. Good nominee and expect he'll be a good justice.

I'm sure Trump has another good nominee, who doesn't feel the need to lie repeatedly to the committee during the nomination process in order to get confirmed.

This is the equivalent of when your wife finds out that you were doing something that she doesn’t like, she pulls the old “I don’t care that you went, I’m upset that you didn’t tell me”!

The guy's yearbook was relevant, for one because it was the same timeframe as the allegation - but also because it seems to undermine what Kavanaugh was saying. "Devil's Triangle" is reference to a 3-some, 2 guys and 1 girl, do you think it just coincidence that this was the exact scenario Ford described? Kav claimed it is a "drinking game". Apparently a drinking game that NOBODY has heard of. What do you think is more likely? Have some damn common sense.

Boof is likely a slang term re: either anal sex or "to abuse any licit or illicit substance via insertion into one's rectum". His explanation "it referred to flatulence". So in a yearbook where they are talking about sexual conquests and 100 kegs, you think he and his buddies all randomly wrote "did you fart yet" to each other? Really?

Talk about taking lies hook, line, and sinker.
