She wasn't prosecuting Kavanaugh, she was asking questions that supported his story that the Republicans wanted on the record. My thought was that she was possibly standing in for some senators that didn't want questions or statements on the record in this case because they might have tight races or something, but I don't know who she replaced. They could have also decided to go with her to start with, not knowing how Kavanaugh would perform and then stepped in when they thought he was doing well and they wanted to counter some of the arguments the Democrats were putting forth. Also they were treating him the same way that the Democrats treated Ford, singing praises of courage and admiration. The whole thing was political so I am not sure why anybody would think it would be any different.

The Republicans changed their hearing tactics when a profesional sex crimes prosecutor was asking Kavanaugh the right questions. The calendar questions in particular. A Thursday in early July matched with the description of a party that Kavanaugh said that he never attended. Suddenly, she stopped asking questions and Graham started yelling. Edit: the assertion that she was not prosecuting Kavanaugh is true. But, she was probing the truth. And them she was silenced.

And in a job interview, should you not conduct yourself appropriately to the job you're interviewing for?

I think there is something there to justify a vote no matter if the vote is a yea or a neigh

The pubs know Dr. Ford was telling the truth and that Kavanaugh did what she says he did....the way they handled this hearing today proves it.

    Alex Jones would be proud.

What did the Republicans say about Dr. Ford?(hint: bad things) How did she conduct herself?

This post is exactly why the midterms will be a disappointment for you. Your party showed their ass and it is gonna hurt at the polls. It is going to hurt bad.

Realistically, she had the kid gloves on for both. She was fact finding (unlike the Republican senators), but her questions weren't that great. Part of the reason her questions weren't great, they didn't do an investigation! If either side was lying, or some fact was inconsistent, she didn't have the information to inpugn their answer.

I previously said, I just don't think they thought that part of the process through very well. That's the way it came off to me. At first it was like Kavenaugh was getting "double teamed" by both the prosecutor and the dems. Obviously they brought her in for appearances to question the woman, they had zero interest in impeaching any of Kavanaugh's answers.

Many of the Pubs, the Libs and the independents watched Dr. Ford and believe something has happened to that woman. Whatever has happened to her is unfortunate and awful. I am convinced and many Americans are as well that she was taken advantage by Feinstein and friends not the 15 year old Kavanaugh. It is sickening what your party has done to this man and his family.

    Inside your head.
The point of my post is that the Democrats, having found no actual evidence of sexual misconduct, have been reduced to questions about flatulence in a high school yearbook.
The hearing is an attempt to do three things: Destroy the reputation of Brett Kavanaugh, give red state Democrats cover to vote against him and sway public opinion. They failed in the first two and we'll find out in November if they failed in the third. After the testimony of Kavanaugh and the comments of Lindsey Graham, I suspect that the Democrats shot themselves in the foot with most fair minded voters. We'll see.

The woman who just testified under oath is actual evidence of sexual assault.

You keep following the polls. How did that work for you in 2016? Who are the pollsters calling?
