He knows damn well that if he says yes get the FBI involved means delaying this well past the elections.

How do you know all the current or prior members of the court wouldn't have reacted the same way? Thomas was the only one that went through something similar and he was indignant as well. I guess I would wonder more about him if he wasn't pissed off about what he has gone through.

After his opening statement, I was thinking that he was very credible. Now I think that he is an outright liar. He was practically stuttering when being pushed on the FBI investigation and "boof" most certainly didn't refer to flatulence. I am his age and remember the term and he's lying his ass off. If he's lying about those little things and is so clearly afraid of the idea of an FBI investigation on these issues, then what else is he lying about? I do not believe that he is a serial rapist or some of the other things that have been alleged, but he's clearly lying about some of this stuff and does not want it all looked into. Lying under oath is enough to disqualify him and he is certainly lying. He's also playing dumb on the role of the FBI and how the process works. He's an experienced political operative and a federal judge for god's sake, but he doesn't understand basic issues of evidence? He's lying through his teeth and it is plain to see.
