So what? Confirming somebody other than Kavanaugh doesn't change that fact. And there is corroborating testimony. It was submitted to the Committee. You're attacking a victim because she dared to speak out against your guy.

Why is this more about a question of the impact on society rather than the actual veracity of the claims against the nominee of the supreme court?

    Because it's ALL political

Therefore, it's impossible that she's telling the truth?

Is Kavanaugh going to be convicted in a court of law?

It's political for you. As I said before, pull Kavanaugh and push Barrett or Hardiman through. That's the consequence of losing an election. But I will not accept Kavanaugh with these allegations against him.

Then skip the investigation. Just make him sit here under oath for about 4 hours like Kavanaugh and Ford have to and say what he knows about that night, and Kavanaugh's claims that all he did in HS was study, play sports and go to church..

Off topic, sort of. Dems must have been watching Fox at the break and seen them describe her as credible because they are just running out the clock.

What? A polygraph? A therapist notes?

Anything from a third party witness? Someone that was actually there that night?

The only responsible thing to do to alleviate the allegations that this is political is build a time machine, go back to 1982, and either stop Kavanaugh from assaulting Ford, or convince Ford to come forward right then and there. But good luck getting a 15-year old to come forward and admitting to being at a small party with older boys and drinking beer today. Let alone 1982. But we can't change the past, of course. We can only live in the present and hope to change the future.

If this were the only claim against Kavanaugh, it would be easier to dismiss. But there are now two other women who have come forward with stories about Kavanaugh during his HS and Yale days. There is a pattern here. One that Kavanaugh will dismiss by trying to paint himself the choir boy again. Another reason to have Judge testify.

Good to know your standard of proof

I'm sure it applies equally across the political spectrum

The one follow-up question that may be too much of a hardball to ask - she explained that the reason Keyser wouldn't remember the party is because nothing unusual from her perspective happened.

She also explained that she ran down the stairs and out the front door past everyone sitting in the living room.

So would it not have been unusual for Keyser to see her run down the stairs and out the front door out of parties?

Mitchell just threw up the white flag and undermined the entire process as not being the best way to do it, how odd.

It does. I called for Al Franken to resign. I've called Bill Clinton a rapist. Unlike you, I am consistent. I am not driven by partisanship when it comes to sexual assault.

Four sworn affidavits affirming that she's been telling this same story since 2012.

None of the claims are credible.

If a D nominated justice had three women come forward with sexual assault allegations, I'd call for a full investigation. And any of the allegations seemed credible, especially after investigation and testimony, I'd want the nomination withdraw. Regardless of politics, I don't want judges with credible sexual assault allegations on the SCOTUS. Period.

I would agree. So why didnt the people that knew about this send it to the FBI before this circus started?

I havent seen this happen, but we are also in a time where the mere mention of rape can ruin someone even with no proof, just because they said it.
