I'm sure that you're convinced. Logically, if she was in it for the publicity as you and a number of your fellow Trump acolytes seem to believe she would have come forward sooner without the pretense of trying to remain anonymous. Not everyone is a publicity whore, especially an individual who is recounting a traumatic experience, unlike the Dear Leader or most politicians or other public figures.

What else was it in the notes?

That is not what she said.

Yes, she actually answered that she remembers that.

It was about the specific date, as she said she saw him 6-8 weeks after the event.

    She said it was 1982.

A lot of humans, particularly of the male species haven't been just skeptical, they've been reflexively dismissive and on the attack.

Just curious, if that's the reasonable thing to do, why has it never been done before by this or by any other Senate committee? I certainly can't recall one (can you?) except when a special counsel has been appointed and the entire procedure is handed to a 3d party, not just one side of it.

I think it's probably more politically expedient than it is reasonable. If reason were the goal here, there'd be soap operas on all of the networks and the FBI would be doing a quiet investigation.

Will the professional be questioning Brett Kavanaugh? If she doesn't, what will you say?

Winner rating for the Cowards assertion. They are. Clearly.

Of course, they have no female GOP Senators on committee, so they're hands are rather tied there.

"[Ford] is extremely credible and Rachel Mitchell is not laying a glove on her... the president cannot be happy with this." -- Judge Napolitano (a Trump favorite) on Fox News (which Trump surely is watching).

"If she can accuse him, none of us are safe." "I oppose her because I worry about my sons, brothers, father, etc. being accused."

I am a man. I have no fear of being accused. Why? Because I don't sexually assault women. And if I have a son, I will have no fear of him being accused because I will raise him right. If you fear your son being accused, you haven't raised your son right.

I just said my friend who was sexually abused while sleeping over at another friend’s house said they don’t recall how they got home afterwards.

My son was hit by a car in a parking lot at 4 or 5. I don’t remember if my wife or I drove behind the ambulance or what. I assure you it was part of the event but I don’t remember. I do remember it being Tuesday and raining and warm and about 11 am and the car was headed south.

Really nothing to do with who is telling the truth here but I recall parts of my sophomore year which would have been 64-65. I also recall the first day of the 9th grade which was my entry into high school. I recall vividly riding my bike down to the driver's license office to pick up a handbook and going back to take my restricted test in 1964. I also had to take a paper to my dad uptown so he could sign it and give permission. I have no troubling recalling when I took my driving test at 16 and failing it the first time. I had bet one of my friends 50 cents I would pass the first time after he failed. I went back and passed the next day. Like most, many things I don't remember anymore but many things stand out in my mind.

A friend of mine is watching Fox and says they're calling her credible. I have a theory on that. It indicates to me that the plan is to withdraw Kavanaugh, but you gotta sell it to your base.

Sure. I have an internal statute of limitations that prompts me to be dismissive of allegations not levied within 3 decades of the alleged wrong.

    Damn Y chromosome...

She remembers the detail of the so called assault 35 years ago but does not remember who paid for the lie test 4 months ago

What proof do you have that Kavanaugh sexually assaults/ed women? Or is an unsubstantiated, un-corroborated claim proof enough for you? If that is, then I don't understand how you aren't worried.

Should we start listing the names of people who have been falsely accused of sexual assault/rape? So yes, you should worry. If not for yourself than definitely your son. No matter how well you raised him

Wow, you're getting really upset with the fact someone would have the audacity to check the credibility of her testimony. The simple answer is what's being alleged is a criminal act, and therefore, I give the defendant a presumption of innocence until he is proven guilty. I realize what we're watching today is not a criminal trial, but at the core, this is about a criminal act or lack thereof and so, I'm going to apply the same standards to Mr. Kavanaugh as I would any defendant. Sometimes that may involve questioning an accuser. Sorry that sort of thing offends you. I like the Constitution.

Would it change anyone's opinion of Trump if he withdrew the nomination?

Studies show that there's a better chance of your son being sexually assaulted and not reporting it than being falsely accused. Maybe you should be worried about that.
