We don't need to. Most courts in the U.S. have already taken care of that one for us.

As I said, Brett Kavanaugh is on the record disagreeing with you. Is he an incompetent judge?

Read it again even more carefully this time.

If you still missed it, BobK89 got it right.

If someone told you "be careful drinking the punch at those Georgetown Prep parties," it would be accurate to say that you "became aware of" the punch being spiked.

If you saw someone spike the punch, you don't think that your affidavit - which is written to try to be as powerful as it can - would say you saw it rather than that you "became aware of it"?

So if Kavanaugh took and passed a Polygraph test, this would all be over in your mind right?

Not nonsense. I posted a question. You merely "Imagined" the answer. Got anything more than your imagination? Such nonsense

This is so unbelievable it is amazing people are taking it seriously. MSNBC just had a panel of 6 people on discussing the "rape train ring" and all 6 panelists stated they didn't even have a little bit of doubt that this might not be true. So we are supposed to believe that after 6 FBI investigations where Kavanaugh's family, friends, classmates, neighbors, co-workers etc were interviewed, it was never discovered that he led a high school rape club that drugged women and presented them to the club members. Seriously? But the Creepy Porn Lawyer discovered this all on his own in a few hours? This is totally ridiculous and the truly disgusting part is that members of the Senate like Feinstein, Booker and Schumer who know Kavanaugh know none of this is true and could stand up and put an end to this charade but they continue to let it fester. Hard to believe libs will not pay a price for this at the polls in a few weeks once all of these "accusers" retract their statements and disappear.

Democrats on the JC are now demanding that Trump either direct the FBI to investigate or pull his nomination, ie they want the hearing tomorrow delayed.

She still swore under oath that she was aware of them doing it. Of course, there are the numerous other troubling things in the affidavit. It's a bombshell. Kabooooom.

No, but it would help his defense.

All a polygraph tells us is if the person under going it believes what they are saying. It is possible to believe something that isn't true and pass a poly, which is why they are not admissible in court.

Why are Dr. Ford's therapist's notes not being made available to the committee if they bolster her case?

Serious question and one I have been wondering about. How far back do the FBI investigations typically go? Is it possible they might start when one attains adulthood - 18? Did BK's FBI background just go that far or did they talk to HS friends? Dunno. Just asking in case anyone has direct knowledge.

Hope you read affidavits in your own cases more closely than you're reading this one.

Because it consists of a paragraph of actual allegations (saw Brett very drunk, grinding on girls, saying bad things) and two pages of carefully worded hand-waving and innuendo in the hopes that you get the impression it is saying things that it purposely doesn't say.

And I hope you don't work with victims of sex crimes. I don't think you'd be a very friendly ear. You forgot the part about Brett refusing to take no for an answer, groping them, and trying to pull their clothes off without consent. Funny how you neglect to mention the worst things from those two paragraphs.

If she was lying why wouldn't she just say she saw it?

If she believes it, what's your explanation for it being untrue?

Agreed. Of all the GOPers for Ben to fall on his sword defending, I'm not sure why Kreepy Kav got the nod.

Gotta laugh at tweets like this one:

"He passed six FBI background checks. How could these allegations be true?"
"Why don't we have the FBI look into the allegations to try and uncover the facts?"
    "ABSOLUTELY NOT!"

I would think that in a FBI vetting of anyone of that stature, sexual improprieties would be at the top of their list & that would especially involve his younger days.
