I have to disagree here. If an accuser makes an accusation without any evidence of the actual event happening, why is it up to the alleged perpetrator to have to provide evidence that something didn't happen when none has been provided that it did happen? If I wanted to accuse you of stealing my wallet 20 years ago when we were in a bar together drinking, shouldn't I have to offer evidence that my wallet was stolen before you would have to prove that you didn't do it?
When a name of a person is provided that will come forward and provide first hand accounts, let me know. It's easy to claim a lot of things when no one is going to find out who is claiming it.

You mean in addition to the two prior accusers? And the roommate describing him as a frequent belligerent drunk who he thought was capable of doing what Ford accused him of. Kavanaugh's nomination is all but done with this news, IMO. There probably are other women if this latest story is accurate, but most women don't want to have their history of being sexually assaulted made into a national news item.

It will only take one provided that she has some type of credible evidence to back up her accusation. Not, just that she told someone about it 30 years after it happened. That only establishes that she said something 30 years after it happened rather than 36. Still hasn't established anything that come close to corroborating that the event actually happened at this unknown location, on an unknown date, at an unknown time.
I do not believe McConnell let's his senators behave this way if they have any inkling these are legit allegations. Recall he basically conceded Alabama to Doug Jones by backing Moore's accusers. GOP doubling down on Kavanaugh tells me they don't believe the allegations are credible at all. Not saying they are right, but I think at this point, they're not going to play cover up just to push Kavanaugh in.
I've been saying the same thing for 146 pages, provide a eye witness who can back up the women's account and can definitively state that Kavanaugh was there during the time when the allegations happened. So far, no accuser can do that. Still have not met the lowest standard of evidence. It seems your new approach is to try and slim Kavanaugh by saying that he was friends with Judge, so if Judge did something, Kavanaugh must have as well. If you go back in this thread, you'll see that is exactly what I said Democrats would try to do and why Dr. Ford's team wanted Judge to testify. I am waiting to see if the new accuser can provide an eye witness that can back up her claim.
Everybody assumes alcohol. Not sure how many would assume grain alcohol or know how quickly it will knock you down. And out.
I read that as sometimes they put drugs in the punch, sometimes they put alcohol in it, and other times they may have put both in the punch. And if there already was alcohol in the punch (which is probable), putting additional grain alcohol in it in addition isn't exactly good behavior either.

Seem like if you wanted to postpone a hearing, dropping a story like this the day before it was suppose to take place is a good way to try and make that happen.
