You figure it's all one-sided? Everything good on one side, everything bad on the other?

This nonsense just keeps getting "better and better". So Kavanaugh was able to dig up his calendar from 1982. I'm impressed, the only thing I can dig up from 1982 are ticket stubs for Gator games and some underwear that Mrs. GK always insist I get rid of.

Reports: Kavanaugh Has Found 1982 Calendar, Detailed Entries Help Clear His Name

Would be interesting to see if this one is a legit, accurate piece of err... evidence.

Solution: instead of asking BK all kinds of questions, they should give him 5 shots of alcohol and see if he gets naked.

With respect to the second accuser... if the allegations are true, it shouldn't be difficult to find corroborating witnesses...

Kavanaugh allegedly "exposed himself" during what seems to be a drinking game in front of several people.

Forgive me, but I find it suspicious that apart from the people that find her story "believable" or "trust her and therefore, trust her story," the only person who testifies with any certainty that this happened apart from Ramirez, herself, is an allegedly anonymous witness.

Whereas, those who were close to both Kavanaugh and Ramirez, said that if the allegations were true, they would have definitely known about it in school. They were simply too close to both parties... And those people have in fact, volunteered their names...

Combine that with the fact that Ramirez admits to a shaky memory of the incident, she describes her recollection as "foggy," the fact that she had to speak with witnesses and an attorney to "refresh her memory," and confirm that it was in fact Kavanaugh who exposed himself... in spite of the fact that she alleges to recall someone specifically using Kavanaugh's full name in saying that he exposed himself during the incident. If she recalled that someone said, "Brett Kavanaugh just exposed himself to Deborah Ramirez," why should there have been any doubt on her part that Kavanaugh was the one who exposed himself?

Also, who was the one who said this? It would be incredibly useful to track these witnesses down... So far, there is no identifiable witness to this event apart from, presumably Kavanagh and Ramirez, in spite of the fact that there were at least half a dozen people in the room when this happened...

I don’t have anything other than yearbooks and old jerseys from my high school days, but if Kavanaugh’s parents are still living, this could be something. I can’t believe how much of mine and my siblings things they still have in their house.

That's one of the problems of not having a certain year/date/time/location...

The broadness in the allegations gives Ford the freedom to move the goalposts, now, even if it would damage her credibility, by simply saying that it was a different summer/different party than the one in which she initially recollected...

All the more reason victims of sexual assault should come out, immediately, while their memory is as fresh as it's ever going to be and put everything on record, then... I know it's hard... but the same logic applies to murder cases, theft cases, etc. You want to give yourself the best chance in making your story as believable and as detailed as possible... If the story is embarrassing, request the investigation be kept private... I'm sure Kavanaugh would have preferred this to be left private as well, even back in 1982, assuming it actually happened...

Could be, when my mom had to move into assisted living, a couple of my old HS yearbooks, wrestling tournament scorecards, and other stuff turned up. Pretty amazing to see pictures of yourself from 30+ years ago that you don't have a chance of remembering. And I didn't even party back then.

Edit: I repeat myself when under stress I repeat myself when under stress I repeat myself when under stress :p

And right on cue, Avenatti rides to the rescue.

Leah Barkoukis - Avenatti Claims He Has 'Evidence' That Kavanaugh Targeted Women For Gang Rape

These accusations are getting weaker and weaker as they come out. No one named by Dr. Ford as being at the party can remember it, including a close female friend. NTimes states that they could not find a single person who had a firsthand account of the Yale story. Avenatti is claiming there was a gang rape ring in high school that Kavanaugh led.

This is turning into a farce.

Yet, the New Yorker found multiple people who said they heard about it at the time. When multiple people heard about something happening, it is pretty hard to argue that it's all made up.

Turning into a farce? It was a farce from the get go.

The accuser said she had a hard time even being sure it was Kavanaugh and there was no eye witness it was him. There is a reason that the NYTimes did not run the story. Sorry but you need an eye witness here to confirm it was Kavanaugh.

Really you never heard a rumour that turned out to be completely wrong and false before?

This woman happens to be lying about Kavanaugh, and people just happened to hear about that lie back then. Is that what you're saying? She made all of this up, and coincidentally, there was a fictitious rumor about Kavanaugh also going around at the time?

There is an eye witness. Her name is Deborah Ramirez. The fact that she wasn't 100% sure and was conflicted on whether to come forward until she felt sure undermines the argument that this is a lie. Why would a liar admit any doubts?

I have never heard of a rumor turning out to be false. BTW, did you hear that Billy Donovan bought a horse farming in Versailles, Kentucky about ten years ago?

Names, dates and places get mistaken all the time.
Tell a story in a chain of people 100 times and see how much of it changes by the person.

If you believe the people cited in the article, some heard about it back then and others heard about it recently when Yale alums were discussing it in reference to Kavanaugh's nomination. Basically, you're asking us to believe that something a bunch of people heard about that just happens to corroborate a woman's accusation is a coincidental rumor that everybody is getting wrong. You're welcome to that belief, but no dice for me.
