Nonsense. The right is afraid of an investigation because of what it will reveal. The right would rather appoint a sexual predator to a lifetime appointment to the Supreme Court. Until there is an investigation, asserting a lack of corroboration is a nonsense because an investigation is required to develop evidence one way or the other.

Actually, he was. If Garland got the seat, it would have been a liberal majority (to some extent). With Gorsuch getting it, it remained a conservative majority (to some extent).

I'll pass on anyone on the 5th Circuit going to the Supreme Court.

But you do believe this is a political ploy orchestrated by the Dems, right? You don't believe that either of these accusers came forward because Kavanaugh did it, right?

And just stop pretending to be something you're not. Stop pretending you actually care about people, you don't, you and your side just want power.

Is it really bad that some people are concerned about the death of the white race and the white culture? The "good people on both sides" comment wasn't a good one, but guess what, there are bad people on both sides. Some of your protestors you love so much have committed assault, burglary, theft and intimidation. There were bad people on both sides in Charlottesville. Racists on one side and those just looking for a fight on the other side.

And spare me with your sanctimony about caring about these women. You and your side are just using them to try to move your political agenda forward. Just admit it, you want communism and you want us to be just like Venezuela. Everyone equal, everyone poor.

    I don't know...

That's why we should have a hearing next week...

I have no doubt that Democrats chose the timing as an exploitative measure to stall...

I kind of want to see the GOP play the race card.

I suggested a Taiwanese American and an Indian American, and here come the Dems to demand a white woman instead. ;)

We'll see what's uncovered. Hardiman is the person I support.* But I won't complain about them pulling Kavanaugh and nominating her.

    * - Assuming he doesn't have massive skeletons in his closet.

Thapar is fine with me. I don't know Ho that well, but I know how he got on the bench. That's enough for me not to be a fan.(same with Willett) And having to deal with 5th Circuit jurisprudence, I can tell you that I don't want any of these judges on SCOTUS, except Gregg Costa. I'm good with him. But he'll never be nominated by a Republican. He's an outstanding judge, though.

Nice evasion. You didn't answer my question. Don't you think it's a little pathetic that you don't at least question why the accusers have waited until now to come out about this? That doesn't scream political agenda to you?

You know that is facially absurd with Anthony "Anything to be popular" Kennedy.

Women are the ones to blame for making me and many others like me this way. They criticize men for judging women just on their looks and then turn right around and judge men based on their looks and financial income. To me that is far more reprehensible. Never mind the blatant hypergamy that most western women subscribe to.

I'd love to see men go the hypergamy route. It would completely destroy western women.

And to clarify gator_lawyer, do you really believe it's right that the bottom 80% of men (aka most men, myself included) have to compete for the bottom 22% of women whereas the top 78% of women will only date the top 20% of men (aka the 80/20 rule)? How is that not completely shallow on the part of women?

And you wonder why so many men are like me and disgusted by what has happened to dating and courtship in western society.

Kennedy was a right-leaning moderate. Look at his First Amendment track record.

No, I don't believe that. That's the delusional incel complaint that has no statistical basis. It also has no basis in reality.

Go do this in another thread. I'm not interested in the incel delusions. You've slipped right back to where you were.

Fair enough, that's likely all I'm getting from you and I'll take it...

I certainly appreciate the attempt at impartiality... Just applying a little pressure where I felt it was needed...

    Good stuff... :)

I say why wait until 9 a.m. tomorrow. Lets get the Senate in there tonight and get this Kavanaugh confirmation through. It will be classic to hear the left scream.

don't you think truth might be a more noble pursuit rather than simply angering the other side of the aisle?

Not really because the truth is he didn't do anything. These women just want fame or money, if they were truly looking for justice they wouldn't have waited for him to be nominated for the SCOTUS. They definitely would not have waited until the last hours before his confirmation.

Besides, your side could care less about the truth. All you care about is trying to increase your power so that your side can legislate from the bench (instead of interpreting the Constitution which is what the SCOTUS is supposed to do, looking at you Kagan and Ginsberg).
