I don't care about the look or how harsh i'm being. This whole thing stinks to me.

I'm no fan of BK, He is basically anti 4th amendment. Which disqualifies him in my book. So I hope he is not confirmed but not by this circus.

Yup. Nice response, not admitting to guilt, just trying to narrow it down to who.

Just having fun. It’s easy to throw allegations out there. Some people really, really do it in politics, real or not.

The FBI might be able to track something down. Maybe not. It makes plenty of sense for her to try and see what they can find.

Because Kavanaugh is up for SCOTUS, the FBI is involved. The FBI can hand over anything it finds to the State of Maryland. So you're wrong that the accuser doesn't want an investigation. That's exactly what she's requesting.

She knows whether it is true or not. You don't. But you are claiming that you do. That is the problem here.

Can you name the years that I was in Gainesville?

Victims of sexual assault are not likely supporters of the crotch grabber in chief.

    They're not risking much, IMO.

Yeah, I think you're wrong on this:
A New Survey Finds 81 Percent Of Women Have Experienced Sexual Harassment

There are a lot of women out there who have been victimized. Unfortunately, some did vote Republican in the past election. They don't want to lose the suburban women.

Has anyone done a survey out there of how many men have been falsely accused of rape or sexual assault? I know of someone close who has been.

There is a big difference between sexual harassment and sexual assault.

They tried to hear her out and she refused to talk to them unless they would let her dictate how the Senate Judiciary Committee conducts its business.

That’s not a bad answer to the inevitable “oh, mean old Republicans!” spiel. Particularly when you can keep reminding people that “It’s a real damn shame Diane Feinstein decided to keep this secret and not mention it to anyone during the 7 or 8 weeks when it could have been being dealt with, if only she hadn’t taken it upon herself to decide that it didn’t merit mentioning.”

You think women who have been sexually harassed are saying, "Well, they didn't take this alleged sexual assault seriously enough, but the harassment I suffered would have been taken seriously"?

Yes the last 10 years, thats as close as it needs to be in an accusation according to you. I named a place, Gainesville and a time, in the last decade. You're toast. BTW I told a friend that it was you and she will testify that I told her that I named you.

And then any reasonably intelligent person will point out that there was nothing forcing them to vote Kavanaugh through when they did.

She came forward when he was nominated (well over a month ago) and after going through therapy, and after almost surely feeling emboldened by the turn in the last year or two on this issue. Seriously, ask any non partisan psychologist and they will say her timing wasn't at all strange, in fact if she is telling the truth (and I still freely admit that isn’t a given), it’s remarkably courageous.

As I mentioned above, however we got to where we are, in the span of a few days she has been outed nationally, asked to appear before largely hostile committee on national tv ready to tear her apart, and do it in a few days when professionals in this racket prep for weeks or months. All for something that she can’t now prove in all likelihood.

Imagine she is telling the truth, and then put yourself in her shoes and what this firestorm must be like, with impossible choices.

It’s not about BK. It’s about claiming someone can’t be telling the truth about a traumatic experience in their youth simply because they later went to college and got married. That’s not harsh. That’s apalling and ignorant. I have no idea if she is telling the truth, but her current life should simply never be used as evidence that she isn’t.

If you want example of this, read the sickening story of Jean Wehner.
