I’m not referring to past history I’m taking about future guarantees in the contract that will ensure what we wants moving forward Kelly wanted control and guarantees and UCLA probably beat us with that
11-1 at UCF is still pretty dang good. Especially from where they were when he started. I can say with zero uncertainty that UCF, right now, with lesser talent than UF, would run us over.
We have the info. They publically whiffed on Chip Allowed the entire staff along with the president to be documented going to see Chip Allowed a hysteria to build without comment or counter news that Kelly was a done deal Allowed the players to be so out of the loop that our entire team and our recruiting class thought Kelly was coming (go look at that twitter activity) Allowed Gators mens bball to troll the fanebase with their activity (showing the admin participating in the hysteria) Tweeting prequel memes at the fans (perhaps their biggest crime) This is a big let down, and my question to you would be to tell me how they could have done this any worse in regards to their pursuit of Chip.
My opinion: Chip Kelly is the weasel he's always been. I was excited about him being our HC because of how good of a CFB coach he is, but at this point, I'm fine with someone else. I've never liked the guy as a person, and this just made me dislike him that much more.
Huh??? I am all about Frost. He’s always been my #1 but you literally did not answer anything about my question.
Maybe one of the deals CK got was a new office with space for all his national championship trophies or Super Bowl rings... Oh wait..
I've been preaching this for awhile. Unfortunately virtually impossible to remove those with the real power. Hence we're on the slow ride to mediocrity.
Can’t give a guy with NCAA issues total control. And definitely can’t guarantee buyout $$ if fired with cause.
What happened was they got wrapped up in chips offensse and record on the field, without wising up about how much of a putz he is, went all in and didn't think it through.
Yeah sounds like UCLA is more committed to football than we are. It’s not about history, it’s about the future.
We didn’t go all in. Our offer didn’t include the keys. We basically offered Kelly what we’d offer a mid major coach. We didn’t give him a serious offer in the face of competition
Sounds like a competent guy who gets who he's going after and won't hysterically show up on a Sunday during a conference championship week and tell him how he needs to come to Florida and coach with super nice guy and championship level belly rubber Randy Shannon
