We protect insiders on the Den.....we'll do it here, too. Some inside info has been provided to posters to ease their minds and give them an idea where the coaching search regarding Kelly was headed. NO source was wrong nor did they lie or make it up to mislead. Info passed on here was true and accurate at that time. We could have remained silent and let you wonder. Something has happened between Kelly and UF.....insiders here still have valuable insight because they heard the developments during the negotiations between Kelly and UF. It's up to you whether you want to believe them or not but DO NOT attack insiders saying they were wrong or misleading. Usually the inside information is found on the Den but this time there were insiders here on SG. Be grateful for that. Let things shake out before getting angry and blaming anyone involved in this.

Here's a clue. Buy a VIP membership and see if the PAID insiders who cover the team as journalists agree with you...or us. You think they all made it up too? What about Darren Heitner? To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Chip Kelly. The offensive scheming is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of RPO most of the plays will go over a typical viewers head. There's also Kelly’s nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from cat behavior, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these systems, to realise that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Chip Kelly truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Kelly’s existential catchphrase "I don’t even know if I want to coach," which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenevs Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Scoot Strokelan’sd genius wit unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools.. how I pity them. And yes, by the way, i DO have a Florida Gator tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. They could have easily told me "hey, don't post that here - that's for the insider board". I'm not even a member of that board BTW. If was posting complete trash with no merit I would have been banned or heard from them long ago!! There's a difference between skepticism and attempting to attack people for simply sharing info by the way.
Campbell is a solid candidate, but he really hasn't done a whole lot more than Frost at this point and Frost has Florida recruiting connections and an exciting brand of offense.

There's nothing subtle about his offensive scheming. It's why the NFL figured it out. It works extremely well in college because you don't have the caliber of athletes and tacticians. However, it falls far short of the truly special offensive minds out there.
