Ticker I saw while watching UVA- V-Tech game. Cited Ed Ashoff as well as some other writer stating Kelly to UCLA, but I've been unable to find confirmation online.

 

Aside from chip in his espn segment a couple days ago, what do you mean by all over the place?

Honestly the only opinion is you thinking Les Miles would be a good HC at the University of Florida. I've tried to point you to various reasons why he wouldn't work here.

He accomplished almost all of his success early on, that's why I said "who cares" about his SEC record. Once again, if he's such a "can't miss" HC.... 1. Why did LSU fire him? And 2. Why isn't his name coming up anywhere?

Franze Beard is now reporting on Buddy Martin Show that Chip Kelly overplayed his hand at both @GatorsFB & @UCLAFootball where he has burned both bridges. Now @Vol_Football is getting into the mix. As if this could not get anymore bizarre...

 

That's not what it said. It said UF is going to meet with Frost IN CASE Kelly goes to UCLA.

Yes, you have tried to point to reasons why he wouldn't succeed. That is true. I don't agree with those reasons. You make valid points, and I do too. At the end of the day, I've watched the guy for over a decade. I've seen what he did at a program like ours in the same conference. I feel confident he could do the same here.

Why did LSU fire him? Why did UGA fire Mark Richt? Things got stale, and they decided to move on. That doesn't erase what Richt and Miles did. Why isn't his name coming up anywhere? His name did come up last year. Why isn't his name coming up now? Because Chip Kelly's name has overshadowed everything thus far.

 

Strong isn't any better than Fraud Mac, botton line both are a piece of crap coaches.

I don't think he turned us down. I think we ended up getting tired of the back and forth and decided that this guy is dicking us around.

 

I would be disappointed too if it turned out we didn't get him, but I don't think it's semantics to point out that the media reports don't give the impression that the "program is in disarry".

 

I guess the good news here is that nobody has any idea what's going on with Kelly. I guess we'll have to wait until the press conference.
