Well back on track now. Watching many of these games and all the qb going down. It really shows that if you don't have a system that runs to strengths of all your qbs in some fashion, you have some nussferious system that probably won't work anywhere.

Heard during the game last night that apparently Meyer made a comment to somebody about how shocked he was when he heard UCLA's offer to Chip. It must have been huge.

I haven't been paying attention does anyone know what it was?

 

I'd make a run at Holgerson. Id imagine his salary is doable and he's been a West Virginia long enough he may not have a huge buyout.

No that was the package UCLA sent to Meyer before he decided on OSU. Wasn't the offer to chip that he was talking about.

 

A few years ago he was reportedly involved in six alcohol-related incidents, including being thrown out of a casino. So I think the bets may be off on him as a candidate.

 

I am sure Stricklin realizes how critical this hire is. While I am just a low level booster for many years, I contribute several thousand dollars a year to my Gators for 2 seats. This will be the third time I have thought about not renewing my season tickets. First with Muschamp and then McElwain. I stuck with it despite my better judgment that those two would be average at best. Here I am again waiting to see if UF football will regain a pulse. I will await the new coach like all of you, but I would tell our AD, if he really underwhelms with this hire, I will not renew this time.
