Ummm....Saint Mary's Nun's College has a more difficult schedule than that school in Athens. Absolutely ridiculous they are getting so much love this season -- everything was set up for them and the one game where they actually had to play well they got run out of the building. But even in the SECCG they are either going to get a Bama team that has been hit very hard by injuries and their run defense is much worse now or they get an AU team they have already played and can adjust to and it is not at Auburn -- and they get either one a week after they play each other and all UGAy has to do is beat freakin GT. It wouldn't surprise me if the school in Athens takes the trophy but that is because, as usual, the only time they win is when everyone else sucks and they have an easy path. Rant over.

Bassett Hounds love turkey gravy. So I've been told. Personally I don't watch porn that has no gravy.

On a related note. Gumbo is just an excuse for eating a bowl of gravy.

So the day after Thanksgiving, I'm thankful I'm not seeing any news of Mullin coming to Florida.

He looked pretty bad last night.

Mullen annoys me but he lost his star QB early and made it a 3 pt game

Yep I hope they don't consider hiring Mullen. He only has one winning SEC record in 9 years there.

    Last night, check this out:
These are bottom ten coaches vs top 25 teams. I know that ole miss was 5-6 but this is another bad metric. Look whose ranked 3 spots better.
    What about the Bottom 10?

    10. BUTCH JONES – TENNESSEE – 6-20 (23.1%)

10 seasons as an FBS head coach (Central Michigan 2007-09, Cincinnati 2010-12 and Tennessee 2013-present). 6-15 vs. Top 25 at Tennessee.

    T9. MATT CAMPBELL – IOWA STATE – 2-8 (20%)

5 seasons as an FBS head coach (Toledo 2012-15 and Iowa State 2016-present). 0-4 vs. Top 25 at Iowa State.

    T9. GARY ANDERSEN – OREGON STATE – 4-16 (20%)

8 seasons as an FBS head coach (Utah State 2009-12, Wisconsin 2013-14 and Oregon State 2015-present). 0-6 vs. Top 25 at Oregon State.

    T7. JAMES FRANKLIN – PENN STATE – 3-15 (16.7%)

6 seasons as an FBS head coach (Vanderbilt 2011-13 and Penn State 2014-present). 2-7 vs. Top 25 at Penn State.

    T7. DAN MULLEN – MISSISSIPPI STATE – 6-30 (16.7%)

8 seasons as an FBS head coach (Mississippi State 2009-present).

    5. WILIE TAGGART – OREGON – 2-11 (15.4%)

7 seasons as an FBS head coach (Western Kentucky 2010-12, USF 2013-16 and Oregon – first season).

    4. DAVE CLAWSON – WAKE FOREST – 2-15 (11.8%)

8 seasons as an FBS head coach (Bowling Green 2009-13 and Wake Forest 2014-present). 1-8 vs. Top 25 at Wake Forest.

    3. DAVE DOEREN – NC STATE – 1-10 (9.1%)

6 seasons as an FBS head coach (Northern Illinois 2011-12 and NC State 2013-present). 0-9 vs. Top 25 at NC State.

    2. MIKE MacINTYRE – COLORADO – 2-21 (8.7%)

7 seasons as an FBS head coach (San Jose State 2010-12 and Colorado 2013-present). 2-14 vs. Top 25 at Colorado.

    1. STEVE ADDAZIO – BOSTON COLLEGE – 1-12 (7.7%)

6 seasons as an FBS head coach (Temple 2011-12 and Boston College 2013-present). 1-10 vs. Top 25 at Boston College.

It’s no surprise that the bulk of the bottom coaches lead/have led programs that don’t have a long history of championships. It makes you wonder – does the coach make the program or does the program make the coach?

Playing at home against a team missing their star QB and all kinds of players. Mullen is just not good in his SEC games.

This thing goes sideways, and he may very well be on deck.

CK -> Frost -> Norvell -> Whoever takes it first from Charlie/Mullen

I just knew that because Mullens season is over we'd see all kinds of buzz about us talking to him.

I will quit watching if that happens.

I think your data is old, Iowa State had 2 wins this year against top ranked teams.

GA has an easy SEC sched, for sure. But they also play ND and GT. I’d say the bottom feeders of the SECE are still better than the majority of Wisconsin’s opponents.

Point being that WI being undefeated doesn’t mean they are a great team, especially not as good as their fans think they are.

@31g8r that interesting data. I always look for a guy that has taken a traditionally bad school and made them exceptional. Like what Meyer did at Utah, what Peterson did at Boise and what Frost is doing at UCF make you pause and think they are pretty good ones.
