Sometimes he goes too far out of his way to not come off as a homer, so it wouldn’t surprise me if he does say somewhere other than Florida.

Is it confirmed that Frost was his plan A?
We had news of assistants being vetted last week.
All reports are that CK contacted Slappy Squirrel about the position prior to the USCe game.
Once that contact was made it was all in on the grand slam to hire CK
As far as plan B,C,D,E,F,G etc. I honestly feel that those have not even been considered as Slappy Squirrel feels confident that he has his man.
If it were not the we would be hearing something from the UAA or Slappy Squirrel each time a "New Story" with unfounded sources pops up.
Do we know with 100% certainty that UCLA met with CK? As that meeting allegedly happened AFTER the reports that UCLA had moved on from CK.

There is a lot of mis information, unfounded sources, and flat out speculation being posted as fact. The only Fact i am 100% confident with is that Slappy Squirrel, Fuch's and crew flew to meet with CK, flying out of Ocala with a flight plan to Bangor Main, and diverted the flight as they neared Conn.

He's not necessarily wrong. Old rusty weights are going to build muscles as fast as shiny new weights.
The problem is recruits (kids in general) like new shiny things.

You know he will. I think that guy has a chip on his shoulder towards UF and SOS about having to split playing time. There hasnt been much to say about us in the last 8 years that is good, but he seems to always find something negative to say.

As plausible as any pro-Gator timeline I’ve seen. Wonder what a comparable pro-Bruin one would look like. Would it be as convincing?

Whew, caught up today reading 140 pages and watchin' football - multitasking! Was surprised Dak fared so poorly and Rudolph did well in this thread. Also surprised the Lions/Chargers announcers were disrespecting UF academics, but Chris & Al recognized UF as an AAU school and supported our continued excellence both in the classroom and on the field.

Nice post Nostradamus. Hope your prognostication lives up to that of your namesake.

So by your logic you can’t give any of the football titles to Foley, since neither Spurrier or Meyer were “his guys’.

Screw the bets on Chip Kelly to UF.

Anyone else betting on Beth Mowins as the ESPN announcer for our noon game against SOW on Saturday?

With respect to football only, he’s kind of like our Bobby Bowden. Helped build us to what we were but stayed around too long, didn’t keep up with the times, and undid some of what he accomplished. Hopefully the new blood (SS) can catch up and surpass our rivals in infrastructure so that future coaches aren’t starting at a disadvantage.

You don't care, yet you are attached at the hip to a message board thread about the coaching search?

Oh come on, he did hire Meyer. Yes, Meyer had a relationship with the president at the time but Meyer was the hottest coach available that year. Either way that would have been the target.
