Not only do college players not get paid anything, but they make them play on Thanksgiving. "Look at it this way, men. It's more money for the school!"
If by some chance we miss out on Kelly and Frost, and maybe Gundy or Norvell, I'd take Mullen in a heartbeat.
Mus had never been a HBC. A program at our level should never take that much of a chance. Fortune 100 companies do not.
For awhile, I thought we were going to rename this thread "Girls of Chip." Even that has cooled down.
The man who put UF on the map, Ray Graves, had never been a HC. He was the DC at Georgia Tech. And thank God we hired him.
Even better, when you are (almost)done watching that, our BB Fellas will be facing off against Stanford in the PK80@10pmET on ESPN2
Mullen is potentially biggest a hole and most boring coach of all candidates Do not ruin another 3 years. Thank you
Rare. Not impossible but rare. Long shot. Different times now too. HBC role is much different. Much more of a management component. Few can do it all well. Odds of picking one who can is much higher if you've been able to see them in that role at a practice school first before they step to the big leagues. No time for OJT at a top tier program.
