Chip's a smart guy, like I said before if he coaches and runs this program like he has this process we are in very very good hands. He's created amazing leverage in the process, just hope we give him what he wants. If Randy Shannon causes us to lose Kelly.....good lord...I have no words
I think what all of this solidifies is that the age of the insider is dead and gone. Nobody knows anything, those that try calling cling to small details that come to fruition and throw out the misses or try to explain them away with elaborate hypotheticals. Even the people paid to be in the know are in the dark. Schools have just gotten too good at operating in stealth mode.
Taggart built a good program But if you want to look at box scores, and records and pretend that you know what you're talking about I don't think that's all that cool. Same people will slam Taggart for his record....got to understand the context that surrounds these things, and unless you are really watching and evaluating a program you can't.

I think it was OnlyGators who posted last night that they heard Chip was on his way to Florida at some point yesterday. Hollywood Bob Redman last night tweeted that Chip was in Oregon to spend the holiday with his family. I guess it's possible that Chip was in Florida early yesterday and then flew to Oregon last night? Who knows
If you are a coach coming in to change s program, you want to build coach and player loyalty to you. Don’t want to have an ADs guy watching your every move or players more loyal to former coach retained on staff. You also want to hire people you know and are comfortable with. If gettin push back before hired, not going to get better after hire
Very quiet compared to past searches.. A bunch of clear bs out there. One thing has stood out to me. A dumb kid tweets about a signed deal after uaa dad tells him about it. Said kid then tweets info not from dad. Dad makes kid eat phone. No tweets from kid since.
