True, all comes down to lifestyle. Only city I've wanted visit was New Orleans, but only for the French Quarter. he nailed it. I got lucky with my bride doing most of that "heavy lifting" and I only had to to deal with was "which do you prefer".

Zook was a terrible hire. That one is on Foley. As for McElwain, name the coaches who were available that off-season that were equally as good or better options.
Texas, USC, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Alabama, Georgia, Florida State, Florida, Auburn, Michigan ... these are programs with recent success, great recruiting baselines and the resources to get championships.
This! If this falls through then so be it. Just because one coach didn't choose us, it doesn't mean it's undesirable. Not everyone likes pressure cookers but that is what the job is. HC at UF is expected to compete against the likes of Alabama, FSU, LSU, Auburn just a list of schools that have won it all within the last 10 year. Yet, it pays well, a lot of notoriety, and offer plenty of resources to excel. BY all indications, it seems we have done everything we could to make our case. If that's not for Kelly, then he's not for UF. Also I hope we will go about the same way for all future candidates. Nothing to be embarrass about going after who you want.

Florida is considered a top ten job by pretty much...everyone. The fact that you doubt this makes me question you as a fan. We miss on Chip, it's because he took a lesser job for comfort. Simple as that. Everyone knows Florida is a better job, haven't seen one person argue differently. We miss Frost it's because he went to his freaking college. Just like Shaw, Harbaugh, Fitzgerald, Gundy, Spurrier, etc. Not shocking at all. The fact that we would even be in the convo for him shows how elite the job is. If we miss on Mullen, it's because we scared off his wife. None of these reasons are UF is not an elite job. It is. It's just bad circumstances around the top tier coaches this cycle.
