Somebody will take a rider on him and he will line those teams up that didn’t want him and kick their ass. I think he has been humbled. I know we will never take him but personally I think he needs to at least be mentioned by someone way more important and established than me.

2 of our last 4 hires kinda say we aren’t a top 10 Program. Either that or Foley was horrible.

Weird ESPN has confirmed he met with UCLA yesterday

Doesn’t Chip know the insiders said he already signed the contract with us? I mean Buddy and Frqmz were all over it ? Why would he meet with them if he already signed with FL?

Hmmmm guess we should just relax

Where's that kid Tyler (whose dad is on UAA Search Team) when we need him. Oh wait, he's the one who said "It's Done" Sunday.

Elite for about 12-15 years of our history. Not sure we are elite. Maybe you have some points that I’m not seeing. We pretty good but top 5 good , I don’t think so.

    Hypothetical:

If this was FSU vs UCLA, would Chip still choose UCLA?

Oh yeah, he'll line those teams up and kick their asses, just like he did at USC. Wait, no, he underachieved and got fired. Lame Kitten is all talk.

Hindsight is always 20/20. Will Muschamp was the Head-Coach-In-Waiting at Texas and the hottest coordinator in football. He was not a third choice for anyone. He didn't pan out. That's life. McElwain is more arguable, but I'd still argue he was one of the top HCs available that year. He was a Saban protege who rebuilt that Colorado State program and was coming off a 10-2 season.

Neither of those guys were chopped liver. They simply failed. It's like arguing that the Raiders didn't have the #1 pick because JaMarcus Russell was a huge bust. The Raiders still had the #1 pick; they just picked the wrong guy.

The only edge UCLA (and nearly all major P5 schools) has on us is facilities. We are woefully behind. Blame Fooley. Once we modernize our facilities I can see us as a top 5 job. Without it? Top 10 to some, top 20 for others.

The right coach doesn’t necessarily have to be kelly or frost. You can’t exactly predict what a coach will do when he arrives here.
But , at least the chance at greatness arrives with the new regime.

Just saying the guy can coach. I doubt he is worse of a guy than CK. Listen we got to get somebody soon. Tell me then who is out there. Leach? Maybe. Another dude that is a bit quirky but damn he can coach.

I have attended every home game during the Muschamp/McElwain era. It has been painful, and honestly I'm burned out from bad football and the $$ it costs to suffer the games. I was really hoping for a rock star coach to both improve play and excitement. I felt that with Kelly and Frost. While I can't say our plan C D E.. candidate will not be a good coach, it certainly doesn't pump me up for UF Football. I don't think I'm alone in saying if we hire an underwhelming coach, I will probably back off some from football and see how things progress before I buy back in. UF football season tickets and the costs associated with attending games is not small change to me and I have to really think if it's worth it if things go south with this hire.
