His decision (rational thinking part) has to take a lot of things into consideration. If he has agreed to the contract then believes he can work with the admin and they aren't controlling him to the point where he will not be happy, has the support and dedication he wants and needs to be successful, etc. I hope this is all a big smokescreen until he is officially announced come Sunday.
It's pretty much all football right now and the posts are coming a mile a minute. Not really caring about the post counts, though it is fun. Most of us just wanted the visual stuff toned down so we can view at home and in our office.

Aside from Arkansas being home for him, Gus would leave Auburn b/c every year he is on the hot seat with that board of trustees. They are a notoriously deluded, fickle, deceitful, and devious bunch, and if he's got greener pastures to head to, he's likely to take it; in many ways, ain't no place like home.

This makes the most sense from the way SS has approached this hire. The out clause probably related to NFL jobs b/ it would be almost unheard of if we didn't get to match or exceed any other offer tendered after last Sunday. If he committed to us before USC he has vetted us and likes what he sees and heard from SS. With the deafening silence from both camps it indicates to me neither groups wants to queer the deal. If so, there better be MANY posts of apology from all the snowflakes who have publicly worried and spun themselves up reacting to limited chatter. These kind of fans are way to demanding beyond W's and L's. They aren't owed any inside info especially WRT to the delicate negotiations that have obviously been taking place. After CK is introduced to the GATOR NATION we should rejoice in the knowledge we have gotten an offensive jugernaught and a man of his word.
