I feel like this is the same story being repeated at each site from the same source. Might be accurate but there’s nothing new from other previous articles. And it makes sense. If true, Florida’s basically saying “hey, you want to drag your feet and lead us on when we’ve told you we’re your top pick? Cool. Let us know soon or we’ll start looking at more interested candidates.”
OK. Let's reset. There has been 1 person claim that UF will expand it's search if CK is not on board in a few days. That was Pat Forde. EVERY other report is just quoting him to my knowledge. No one close to the program has said any such thing.
Just not sure how some of you are so calm and confident about CK at this juncture. Trust me, I hope you all are right and I do think there’s a good chance we land him. He would be a good fit here. But I think some are forgetting that CK changed his mind at last second before (in fact I think he signed an NFL contract w the Bucs once and changed his mind one day into the job). I just don’t think anything is ever done with CK because of him being wishy washy in the past. Even if he already signed the contract and they have a date in mind to announce, CK can still back out. I personally won’t feel good about it until hes announced at the PC on television, not when the contract is signed. A wise man once told me that contracts aren’t worth the cost of the paper they are written on. The longer it drags out, the more chance for anything agreed upon previously to go south. More time for other positions to open up and come calling. But maybe you guys know more than I do that makes you so confident (although I’ve been following it all pretty closely).
It's common sense that if any coach were to take too long making a decision (provided the decision hasn't already been made behind the scenes), that the school would move on.
Chelsea (my favorite club) could actually use CK. Conte is driving me crazy, I'm sure David Dunn will be "on a flight to London" by Friday.

Oh crap 9:52 p.m.:LandryFootball.com reports that Chip Kelly’s agent met with UCLA on Sunday, the same day Florida flew to New Hampshire to meet with Kelly himself. It also notes that Kelly’s meeting on Tuesday with two senior athletic department officials and the Bruins’ heaviest donor “went well” The discussion with the Bruins appears to have centered around donor commitment and Kelly potentially having the necessary funding to build the program he wants from multiple standpoints.
The only smoke around UCLA is whatever it is Lavar Ball's been consuming>possibly "Big Baller Brand Bathsalts?"
Question for clarity: have y’all seen anything that would lead someone else to report negatively? If not, can y’all disclose what makes y’all so confident this is a done deal and everything else is a smokescreen (if I’m interpreting your stances correctly)?
