Ah, a new topic! Yes, if anyone wants the look but doesn't want the price then by all means go moissanite. The only thing you need to realize is that resell values will not be as much as a real - and very nice - diamond. The problem is that most diamonds being sold are not very nice, just competent. Where I think we have gotten off-track is DeBeer's marketing strategy of spending too much of our wealth on a diamond engagement ring, as if it will pay off in resale in the future. I get the divorcee who wants something afterwards and perhaps an old person in need of some quick cash. But weren't you supposed to have enough in other investments to prevent this from occurring? But to me, how many times has a husband had this discussion with their wives?..."Honey, diamonds are selling real well these days and I think it is time to cash out your engagement ring." My guess is that this has happened once....and they still haven't found his body.
I agree. I'm up there too. Healthy 6'3 270. Play a lot. I thought the response was toward Stiff shaft not a good idea here imo. Edit: prior response quoted this and getting stiff shafts.
I have that same shirt. It is my favorite of many. And RR is likely trolling. His show is really good though.
Any diamond I would want would have to be pre1940s. I like the old cuts. Can’t find it on modern diamonds but you can get an old cutmoissanite.
This single thread reminds me of a late-90s chat room. It's got a little bit of everything. Pretty legendary.
