I can almost assure you that UF has reached out to other candidates through back channels. We’re not hearing about it because of the lockdown SS has on communications and there’s not much out there to talk about until those coaches finish their season. Just look at how much time elapsed until we actually saw some type of report that we we speaking to CK.
I feel this same way about UGA stuff.....my wife works there, it's in my house....i don't like it!!!!!
HI is a dream, but so far I've yet to make it out there. Switzerland would be amazing, but my wife is from Brazil so all of my international travel time and dollars are spent down there. When I need to get my mountain fix on, it's Cali, Colorado, or Oregon. Still need to see Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Washington and Utah. CRL, I highly recommend that you visit Yosemite at some point. It's roughly a 3.5 hour drive from San Fran so if you're ever in that area add on a few extra days and head to Yosemite. It's one of the most amazing places I've ever seen and can say it is a spiritual experience! Check out the valley but it's crowded so spend most of your time on Tioga Pass Road in the High Sierras, less tourists up there and some of the most amazing hikes are up there. I highly recommend the hike to May Lake. Now you've piqued my curiosity to check out Lauterbrunnen Valley, anything described as Yosemite on sterroids grabs my attention!
The postponing thing makes sense with the recruits. They only get 5 OVs. Why waste their 1 here when we have no coach....yet!
Number two. Kelly is a methodical guy. He is going to listen to what other schools have to say, even if he has struck a deal with us that he thinks is really good. He will also understand we are under pressure here. If it goes to next week, we will start talking to other people.
I heard it on the radio yesterday afternoon and as much as Dooley annoys me he checks his sources (or at least her reminds you every other sentence that he does).
Sure, if he is going to talk to other schools we would talk to other coaches where appropriate. I just don't know who those other coaches would be.
Best cerviche I ever had was on a fishing charter off the west coast of Guatemala. I caught a nice dolphin, the guy filleted it while we kept fishing, then made cerviche. Haven’t had it anywhere else that even came close.
