Appropriate to tell this story FSU week Moc. When we were in Italy 2 summers ago my wife had told me to make sure I had something nice to wear when we went to Vatican City. I’m pretty much T-shirt and shorts slob when I can get away with it but that day I’m wearing a polo shirt. As soon as we are on the steps I see a guy wearing an FSU shirt. I say very seriously, “I’m told you’re supposed to wear church appropriate attire here, I’m not so sure about that shirt.” He just started cracking up. Then tells me one of his kids went to FSU and one went to UF. I told him he wore the wrong shirt. Yeah that’s right, I was talking sh!t in the holiest place on earth. Go Gators!!!
OMG I would have hounded that guy. Traitor! I would have bought him a pope t-shirt and made him change.
I must have missed something on Durian. If the stuff is so awful, why do people eat it? As an analogy, if I find something rotten in my fridge, I throw it out. I don't chow down.
Meh, your kids are a your kids. I have a UCF shirt - not sure I would have brought it to Italy though.
Durian smells like out house to me. I'm in a rare fruit club and they had durian fruit a couple times on our tasting table It smells bad to me but I tried it but couldn't get past the smell to do more than try it Known as the queen of fruits in the tropics and widely consumed there Guy down from me with the biggest nose of all of us was loving it and he got my leftovers Said it smelled great to him
Yep. I've got some great ones. Even from our hotel room. Pretty amazing. I regret not taking the train to the Gornergrat when we were there though. Had 3 kids with us then and chose to only do one peak because of the prohibitive cost and we chose Klein Matterhorn which was nice but after seeing photos and video of the Gornergrat wish I'd have gone there instead or done it also.
Good morning all. I see the morning shift is here and big boobs have already entered the discussion. You can always count on the gang at GC,
I bet it is pretty in winter too. Beautiful in summer and not that crowded when we were there in Sept.
He was actually a pretty cool guy. I lived in Jax at the time and he was from Ponte Vedra. Just funny - go to Europe and talk to a guy who’s from 30miles from you.
Why is this still up for debate? Trill and Tilly told us it’s happening this weekend. The next 200+ pages should just be filled with talk of beer, stinky fruit, and innuendo.
There are people over there that truly like it.....or at least claim to truly like it. I just go back to how hungry did that first person have to be to pick it up and say "oh this smells like garbage, lets try and eat it".
