If Chip Kelly likes living in New Hampshire why on earth would he like living id LA? That is one giant rat warren. The choice between LA and a thoroughbred horse ranch in the rolling hills around Ocala would be an easy one for me.
Didn't even realize he was the same poster. So we have our own resident man-nipple expert in da house. God bless this Thread! Just when you think you've seen it all in here...
Hmmm, wouldn't say no one likes them. I agree the water is cold, but the actual beaches are very nice, and we don't really have mosquitos biting on you and knats partying on your head while sweating from the humidity.
Posting after margaritas so don't blame me if I don't make sense. I originally was thinking that we needed to have this done this week ahead of a recruiting weekend but heard that there are no official visits this week. That makes me think that a Saturday night or Sunday morning announcement with a Monday press conference may be the deal.
Here's why I'm certain he will come to UF. First Kelly is 53. His next move is an important one from that perspective. He's not getting any younger and this is a very mentally and physically demanding job. Winning coaches are beyond competitive (Spurrier, Bryant, Myer, Saban, Hayes etc.) they want to leave a legacy as someone special. You do that by winning National Championships not finding the best climate, tax breaks, annonymity at the local grocery. These guys are beyond driven because they think they are special. Kelly strikes me as that kind of guy. (46-7 at Oregon ain't just luck). He ain't going to no UCLA folks, and you can take that to the bank. It's a personality driven trait that will work for him and the University of Florida.
Cali is overrated, sorry. High High cost of living, earthquakes, fires, I'm not even sure why anyone goes there to visit. I went to visit my son in October, meh. Top beaches list every year are mostly Florida beaches. 88 million people came to Florida so far this year. Must be the mosquitos.
If this thread wasn’t in the 700+ zone, I might go back and try to figure out how this discussion originated.
Disneyland - all of it - fits into the parking lot of Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. Fact. No comparison. Then there are the other 3 parks. 49 square miles of WDW. Walt did it right the second time.
As best I can recall, it all started when Icequeen brought up the subject of her breasts. Things sort of bounced around from there, though no one could have predicted that we would wind up talking about horse nipples.
NTM traffic. If you think Gainesville traffic is bad. Try LA. It's 24/7. I know cuz I lived there for awhile. And that was in the late 80's. Even worse now.
