Curious why it would be based on college regular season. I would think the cut off would be based on the end of the NFL regular season. Would love to see the actual contract document and just end all this speculation, but then - what's the fun in that?
We can agree to disagree my friend. Are there people that only do it for the money, or money is the driving factor, certainly there is but guys wired like Kelly, Spurrier, Stoops, Saban, and yes even Frost, they just want to win. They want the challenge. If you are good at your craft the money is going to come and keep coming.
Four times. 2006, 2007 is what gets remembered, but Florida beat them in the second round in 2011 and 2014 in the Sweet 16. A little bit of knowledge for everyone here
Spurrier walked away from $15 million in the NFL. And unlike Kelly he's got kids and grandkids. Oh well.
Home prices in Westwood are around $1k/sf on a fifth of an acre. In Gainesville you can get a fully custom house on 5+acres for max $300/sf. Plus, by looking at Chip I assume he prefers chicken wings and whisky over fine dining. I have yet to find any good chicken wings in LA that are worth the drive.
Is it assumed there is language in his contract specific to college football w.r.t. what counts as "end of season"? What would happen if we beat FSU, was selected for and accepted a bowl invite?
Met a Bruin basketball fan at a tasting room in Napa, struck up a conversation with me and Mr. Swampbabe and we mentioned that we were on a family trip to celebrate my youngest's graduation from UF. He said "I hate you". Other than that he and his wife were very nice
Well...thats really nice. The regular season ends on Saturday. So..nothing would happen if we beat FSU and went to a bowl game.
