I swear I'm not trying to bust your balls. But: 1. Smerklin confirmed it last night. 2. The bottom two links you posted both reference the 247sports link at the top. So it's the same article three times. One says Kelly's agents are "apparently" on a plane, and the other says UCLA "may" want to meet with Kelly. They're pretty much doing the same thing we're doing. UCLA hasn't said anything.

Wouldn’t his deal with SF be more specific to NFL coaching jobs? And if it isn’t, wouldn’t we have to wait until the end of the NFL year, which would put it well past the early signing period, which goes against what SS outlines in his press conference initially?
Based on things floated last night, as well as this, I wonder if CK actually did the sign the contract. However, UF did not. This would give the school the assurance that it's done but legally the contract is non-binding (b/c UF has not signed) for the purposes of his 49er money. I don't necessarily believe this, but I WANT TO BELIEVE!
I said that Campbell was my first choice as the others were offensive "masterminds" but he was much more complete. Kelly IMO is the sizzle hire of the past few years and he HAS to be the primary candidate once he showed interest.
Not if you fish Flamingo . This is actually a pretty good time of year to do. Lots of juveniles and some big ones, 100 lbs and larger. A good amount of 50-80 lbers too. I have caught and released tarpon 40lbs and larger in every month of the year there.

Well said @ArcherGator & @grant1 and someone else who commented on the contract/SF piece. If that's the case, and it appears to be so. SS/Chip literally have no choice but to wait. So, I'm comfortable waiting as well. *shrugs*
I don't think you will. Again, I don't think Chip Kelly is going to have any direct impact on our Nike deal. The Oregon deal is that because of Phil Knight and I presume the licensing deal Oregon signed, Nike has far more control to do what it wants with Oregon uniforms. They use Oregon like a fashion show for their new technology. Maryland has a similar deal with Under Armor, because the founder,Kevin Plank is a Maryland grad and gives the school ton of money and worked out that deal. The point being the Nike deal had NOTHING to do with Chip Kelly and nothing is going to change in our Nike deal because of Chip Kelly. The only way it would be if Chip Kelly convinced the UAA that giving Nike control over our uniforms was going to help the school. I doubt he would and I doubt the school would agree.
