SS looks to have done all he can at this point. Ball is in CK's court. They aren't working things for PR effect, as it isn't necessary.
You think ss is impressed with gator sleuth nation? Even with near silence, gator nation is all over this. Ss walking on the tarmac last night was probably like, damnnnn gator nation is impressive. We got cameras set up and monitored at every obscure airport or field in this country.
Sigh...we're driving to Florida tomorrow. Hope this gets wrapped up before the 7 hour drive. Might have to get the wife to read the thread to me
The detail is incorrect but the process likely. Went to seal the deal, and CK and his agent decide it's prudent to see what UCLA has to say. I'd do the same were I in their shoes. Hopefully we don't get Hermaned.
Oh God, he's tweeting about this again!?! First claiming 2,400,00o G'ville airport live stream viewers and now this ?????
If CK would pick UCLA over us it would be his mistake to live with for several reasons: 1. Tax bill will have a limit on state and local income tax deduction. = Huge financial difference of about 10% of salary. 2. UCLA’s facilities are dated. 3. They don’t have as much “academic flexibility” as us. Not my term, Colin Cowherd’s. 4. The Rose Bowl lacks a campus vibe. 5. If CK really has a big ego, he should want to destroy Saban’s stronghold on the SEC. Even though UF is in Gainesville, we have big media everywhere. Jacksonville, Orlando, Tampa, Miami/Ft. Lauderdale/West Palm Beach.
I am with you. As I mentioned before, a lot of the girls posted seemed to be Kardashian wannabees. We are a family of runners that eat clean. My wife is 42 with two kids and has a better body than most of the girls shown on this site. I am a lucky man.
I would agree. In my opinion, these are the two possible scenarios that resulted in the signing: 1. Fuchs and the UAA made the trip with Stricklin for the contract signing in order to show Kelly how important his signature was to the GatorNation. 2. There were a few sticking points with the contract and, because Stricklin cannot negotiate beyond a certain level, he pulled in the president and UAA reps. If I understand the relationship between the UAA and UF, this contract is actually a trilateral negotiation. In a previous life, I was the point person involved with large dollar trilateral sales negotiations and they are a bitch most of the time. I know I felt like a pinball when I had reached my approval levels and the customer wanted more. My goal at this point was to get all the power brokers in a room so that decisions could immediately be made and the contract could get signed. Just the fact that CK met with everyone is a huge positive in my mind and is why I think it's a done deal.
Don't you think it's extremely likely that UCLA already had back-channel communications with Kelly's agents? Remember, David Dunn is a UCLA alum.
