Here's my quick take. I know Andy went to / played at UF, so I imagine he has some contacts. But he could easily backtrack and say that his info was stale. As for all the other insiders -- guys like Franz, Buddy, etc. -- there is no backtracking on a signed contract. They would be risking their careers if they are wrong, so I have a hard time thinking they'd put their name to such a statement. It's why I'm putting more stock in their reports right now.
Anyone who follows Staples knows he’s always bashing the programmand fan base. He is hardly a fan of UF and I’m guessing he doesn’t want this CK news to be true
Guys, I would suggest to stop. Again, for the 100th time, not one "reliable" source has confirmed this. We're gonna wind up going down this same path for the 10th time. Nothing is official.
Chazzie really struggled last week. Benched tonite. But playing FG team. I always thought Wentz was going to be a monster. Montana St, Schmontana St, kid could play. Sean Lee hurt again. Hope he does not equal AA. When he's healthy, he's lethal.
Coincidence that every single Gator player, past and present, has put out the same emoji. They've been told something...and the plane was where Chip Kelly lives. This isn't differential equations.
Benjamin AllbrightVerified account@AllbrightNFL Been told twice tonight that they expect the Chip Kelly saga should wrap up directly with him being named the new head football coach of the Florida Gators. Hardly official, but these two are pretty reliable.
Tyler Fawbush, the son of the President of the UAA, just tweeted that the deal is done: Here is the information about his dad. It says here that his dad was on the search committee to hire Stricklin and he also was or is the President of the UAA: “Mr. Fawbush chairs the Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits Practice for SGR. He is president and a board member of the University of Florida Athletic Association, serves on the board of the Law Center Association of the UF Levin College of Law and is a past president of the UF Alumni Association.” http://www.sgrlaw.com/press-release...-florida-athletics-director-search-committee/
Quick someone park on firechipkelly.com or pay whatever Oregon/Philly/49er crazy who already owns it to sit on it
Well, I guess the 2 hookers, the midget, and the sheep in my hotel room are unofficial as well. Le Sigh.
Nick Kayal@NickKayal SOURCE: I am told that Chip Kelly will be the next head coach of the Florida Gators. “It’s a formality at this point. Announcement not far away.”
