Thank you for doing this. This guys been looked at as God on this forum and he hasn't gotten one thing right about this Chip stuff. He's spit out the same inaccurate time frame stuff as literally every other "source" on twitter or another forum.
There are people that have been skeptical of the "done deal" rumors just as there are people now ready to jump off of a bridge and declare the end of Florida football. You are just picking and choosing what you want to argue against. Edit: Also supposedly Dunn lives in LA so the flight rumor doesn't even make sense.
To be fair, if the administration blows this it would set things back a bit. Fan perception alone would change drastically. I don't think it will come to that, though

No problem, I know it isn't easy to keep up on this crazy thread. Apparently a few posters complained about their bosses or wives and kids seeing that popping up on the computer. We have been reminded that is still acceptable over at the Pub.
It's not about being negative or being positive. All we have to go with is rumors vs more rumors. The excuses for the delay keeps coming. "Vetting Kelly", "Vetting his assitants", "vetting his grandmother and dog", "worried Shannon's feelings will get hurt". The simple explanation is, the deal is not done. If a deal is not done, then logic dictates that he remains a free agent, and can change course, or make more demands, and the UAA will say no to that. No done deal here. Will it happen eventually? It could, and I hope it would. But the cat is not in the bag as of yet it appears.
Nothing like a little adversity to swing the 540+ pages of kumbaya. Ability to ID who you want in the foxhole gets easier.
What reliable source knows his agent is on a plane. Nobody knows sh!t which is exactly how it was planned.

No I'm speaking of Florida fans as a whole, more or less. Not necessarily 100% of the fans, but a vast majority of Florida fans have basically run with EVERY tweet and EVERY post from guys like bentrill as it was a fact passed down by God. Now these same people are suddenly growing skeptical because the rumors no longer overwhelmingly favor Florida?
As many have said the whole “deal is done but (fill in blank with whatever excuse you want)” is complete and utter BS. There hasn’t been a shred of real evidence to suggest any sort of meeting or agreement was ever in place
Yup. This is my thing really. Every single day another excuse comes out why this is actually not a done deal. The reality is also that of none of these guys on Twitter or GatorCountry actually have reliable sources because if you read all the "insiders" posts they also tend to contradict each other.
