I know all about the word. Kelly knew UCLA job was going to open, Stricklin knew UCLA job was going to open, they could have been using that as leverage "oh ok, we'll just wait for UCLA to open up then". My only point is the UCLA job actually becoming open doesn't suddenly mean he's not coming to UF.
I only had a tape, no album, but my friend's dad had a high end VCR that could play audio in reverse. Jesus Christ I leave this thread for a couple hours and the Chicken Littles are taking over. Man up and wait this out. Don’t sell us short yet. Until we get any type of official announcement either way there’s no need to panic or get a second mortgage to sign up as a Bull Gator. The best things in life usually have a lot of drama and close calls, hiring the right coach is no exception.
The problem is if UF doesn't seal the deal and stop F-N around, somebody else is going to swoop in and steal your girl, if you know what I mean. Lock it up and lets go SS, enough pussyfooting around!
Have faith in what exactly? An athletic department in Florida that has been overwhelmingly bad with just about everything they do regarding the football program? Even when they do something right like upgrading something it usually took entirely too long for them even to get to that point. I'm not sure what we should have faith in. The fact its taking Florida longer to vet out some assistant coaches than it does for the government to vet out someone they are giving an elevated clearance too? If anything all this is telling me is this is growing into another situation where Floridas athletic department completely screws up the hire and no one "Sources" have a single clue what is going on.
We may already have all the signatures in place and CK is a done deal. Just waiting on it to be announced when SS decides it is time. Speaking of is SS still AWOL on twitter?
Had to bring this back for @ufhealthgator - this post was 11/10. My initial post on when it'll be all done. I've always said I'm not 100% sure on the timeframe. That's how negotiations work. That rebuttal has already been tried by another seemingly angry poster on here. You can find that exchange a few pages back. Just not sure why every time something pops up everybody automatically assumes UF messed up or it's over for us. I prefer to keep a positive attitude about all of this, pessimism has never been my thing.
Not even sure what this means. You mean the UAA that helped us win more national championships in football and basketball than any other school over the past 25 years? And baseball? That UAA?
