FTR, Gundy loses to Kansas State yesterday. That's just an example of one of the reasons I'd never want him at UF.
I find it funny that all these random people on twitter have specific information about the contract. Maybe it is available for the public on iTunes?
Maybe this is what I was trying to explain (but didn't have the terms) when I said I couldn't prove it but I could tell he was trying to hide something.
Let's compare Chip Kelly this morning with Chip Kelly in 2014 when there were rumors about him leaving Philly for Florida. From 2014 Speaks volumes at what he didn't say this morning.
Only people with kids today would know, but it seems to me that with the Internet and social media kids today know everything anyway. Childhood today is far different from childhood in the 1940s, when I asked my mama why some of the prettiest women in town all of a sudden get pot-bellied.
Don't know if this is true but that makes some sense. New HBC can't overhaul the entire coaching staff and will want some stability. Needs to overhaul the offense of side of the ball totally.
It just says "a position at UF" So welcome the Drama Department's new director and associate professor Randy Shannon.
I don't really believe it either, but that's not what that tweet is saying. It says he's guaranteed a position at UF, not a position coaching spot. He could be guaranteed an analysis position, etc.
No offense but every candidate (and non candidate) does this. Gruden did it the last time the UT job was open and I remember thinking "crap, they got him"
Exactly. Basically this: KN: "So, Coach, you have any interest in the UF job?" CK: "Who me? I was, uh, in, um, New Hampshire." lol.
Basically we will keep you on the payroll until you find a better landing spot as a thank you for stepping up when asked.
He will be a perfect fit as a graduate assistant for Conservative studies, if his offensive philosophy is any predictor.
Now we're getting somewhere Was going to skip 2 pages at a time to catch up but don't want to miss these important updates
Kevin Negandhi: “We also have to address one thing. Last week, I’m sure you know, some were tracking a Gainesville plane that came around the area here in Connecticut. I’m sure you’ve heard about it. And the dots were connecting you, potentially, to the Florida Gators. What kind of interest do you have in the Gators head coach opening?” Chip Kelly: “Is this your way of firing me?,” Kelly said to laughter. “This was a bad telestration so now you try to ease someone out the door? You’re like, well, maybe we have a soft place for you to land.” Totally circumvented Answering the question Kevin Negandhi: “We want you here, but obviously you’d be in demand on the outside.” Chip Kelly: “I was in New Hampshire last week. I really enjoy doing what I’m doing now. I think Florida is an outstanding program and has had so much success with Urban [Meyer] and Steve Spurrier. I think whoever gets that job would be really lucky.” Did not say he never left NH, G-Ville is a 2 hour flight. Gave props to the 2 most successful Gator Coaches, Kevin Negandhi: “OK, so you weren’t here?” Chip Kelly: “I wasn’t in Bristol. I’m in Bristol on the weekends and in New Hampshire during the week.” Again did not say he never left NH. A while back I could have said I was in Florida last week, And not mention that for 3 days I was in Alaska the same week.
Pick your sarcastic response: A. Yeah, Spurrier never lost to Mississippi State or Auburn. B. But I know what you mean. K State is one of our biggest rivals. C. A team that loses to Mizzou shouldn't be embarrassed about losing to K State.
