I called out BenTrill and thanked him for all his great information but I forgot to thank you as well. You have done a great job and I and everybody really appreciate your info.

I can fill in some blanks on what you posted. I thought I said this info very early in this thread but I also have 5 text threads going and cannot remember where I gave this info. I have known since Nov. 8th that Doering and Stricklin met in person. From my sources/ input that meeting took place on either Nov 1st or 2nd. Here is what else I know to probably 99.9% certainty, mainstream gator media (Dooley, Doering, and Buddy Martin, etc.) were used by Scott Stricklin to put up smoke screens about every other coach in the world (Frost, Norvell, Mullen, etc.) except for his true targets Bobby Stoops and Chip Kelly. If you go back since 10/29 all mainstream gator media were talking about everybody except those two and I have proof of Buddy Martin basically telling me I am clueless prior to Nov. 1st when I said it will be Stoops or Kelly. Don't try to find out my identity guys but if you don't believe me (GatorBait guy) when or if you ever meet Buddy Martin ask him if there is a guy that grew up in same town as him (my Father and Buddy Martin went to high school together) and lives in Atlanta now and if that person (me) extremely early on said Stoops and Kelly. He will know exactly who you are talking about. I text directly with Buddy myself. Don't ask him my name that would be "creepin".

So in a nutshell I don't think we can go off of Doering as I think he is specifically given foggy/ unclear information. Now I am not saying there could not be a 11th hour situation such as a Billy Donovan to Magic situation but I have not heard anything like that but there is a 1% chance of something like that happening I guess.

Here is more information I might not have given days ago as I have had this since like Monday or Tuesday this week (remember I have 5 text threads going as well) I just cannot remember with all these great photos distracting me on this thread. I have strong very reliable inputs/ and sources and one of those gave me earlier this week that "Kelly is on a gag order from his agent". Two really good friends of Chip Kelly (one a former player and one a former coach with him) say that Kelly has gone completely "dark" on them and have not been responding to texts to him and him not responding to them is "extremely uncharacteristic". I will say one of those guys would have a reason for wanting Chip Kelly at Florida and just take the info and don't try to find out who I am talking about as it could hurt me getting future info.

 

We have absolutely no leverage. None whatsoever.

This guy is getting paid millions with our without us. Moreover, there will be plenty of options for him as the season ends and plenty of schools that will give him what he asks.

 

Tell me where we have a decided recruiting advantage please. Just asking

I have never seen a start like this. Even some of those incredible Pittsburgh and Chicago teams didn't look this good. Very happy to see what a hungry, healthy team does the year after missing the playoffs

 

Earlier in the negotiation, the ballsy thing for Stricklin to do was to convince the administration to go beyond their comfort zone. At this point, the ballsy thing is to give chip a final offer and be ready to walk away.
