I'm 50/50, he's a lights out recruiter, but terrible game day coach. If, IF he leaves no doubt their class falls apart, and who would they get to replace him?
lmao at these guys on Gameday, exhaling visible vapor and freezing their asses off in Wisconsin. I'm here with the a/c on, otherwise I'd be sweating. Florida's recruiting advantage CANNOT be understated.
I'm not wasting my time with the UAA. I have been season ticket holder for 35 years. I am tired of the nonsense with hiring guys like McElwain. I will not renew my tickets if we hire another 2nd string head coach. Kelly or Frost are the only candidates that give me any hope for excitement any time soon. Make them an offer they can't refuse and get it done.
Exactly. Put it this way if Chip was our coach I’ll find a way to make a game or two a year (I live in Utah). If we don’t hire Chip and we can some scrub I’ll just save my money. If the UAA isn’t 100% ALL IN, then why should I be?
Proof of Bigfoot? Pics of the 2nd gunman on the grassy knoll? Where Jimmy Hoffa is buried? Evidence of WMD’s in Iraq? The world wants to know....
Lol @ Doering. He is being fed lines by ESPN to stir up drama. He doesn't know anything, and our AD would not be telling him anything in the middle of negotiations. "Sure CD, I haven't told anyone else about this. But I will absolutely tell you, Gator buddy!"
The chances that Fran Mullen is our next coach, based on everything that has been presented, seems unlikely. That guy would be run out of town in 1 year.
To his credit, he did not say WHEN he spoke to him. I think he was saying he talked to him right after Mac was fired..., and that the CK part was his opinion from what he is hearing.
My office is conveniently set up so that the wall behind me is the only thing that sees my screen. Not that it matters, if not distracted by a coaching search I’m usually just working. That and I own the place so I could look at whatever I want.
My friend whose been leaking me info from other insider boards says that the positivity that was around earlier in the week has left the boards. There’s a sense that Kelly keeps moving the goalpost during these negotiations and the type of control Kelly wants is way way beyond the confort level of the administration. They’ve conceded way past their comfort zone already and Kelly keeps coming back with more demands. IMO, I think Stricklin has to be ready to walk away from this deal in order to gain some leverage against Kelly and his team.
