I can tell you they are. The puppies I know are very concerned about our prospect of getting CK, especially the level headed ones (yes there are one or two). There has been a lot of squirming going on and I am enjoying every moment of it. I am not sure if I am more excited at the thought of us getting CK or watching my friends reactions to us getting CK. That said, they are very happy with their coach and team, but it seems the recent memories of well coached Florida teams doesn't sit well.
There is at least one group that gathers for all the games, usually at a place like BW3. Haven’t partaken lately due to family, etc. There are a number of Gator grads that live up here and support the teams. Not completely unusual to see Gator bumper stickers, license plates etc especially on my end of town.
He was just called out on it by old man Barry Alvarez lol. Herbstreit's excuse was that he needs the umbrella because he is sitting under a tree. Meanwhile Alvarez is also under the tree. No umbrella.
The president can't even whisper something, in private, to a foreign leader in a secure location without the whole world knowing what was said in a matter of minutes. That is what bothers me about this. There should have been some leak on the major news outlets by now as to how the negotiations are progressing.
Lane Kiffin interview coming up on Gameday. BTW, hasn't Chip Kelly been working as an ESPN NCAA analyst? What will he be analyzing this weekend? Anybody know if he's scheduled to be on?
Much easier to control because Kelly isn't coaching somewhere else currently. So unless the Kelly camp wants to leak for leverage, there aren't as many possible leaks. SS, CK, a UF lawyer or two, and CK's agents. No news leads credence to both parties really hashing out the details and staff vetting.
I've only been here a few months and have yet to see any Gator fans. I saw that there is a Gator Club in Lexington and that's it. Where/What is BW3?
First post on this thread, though I have been a faithful reader. I appreciate the real news and updates, as well as (most of) the "filler". My thoughts are that we will beat UAB today in a hard-fought game, name Chip Kelley as our coach on about Tuesday or Wednesday, and, taking advantage of this gust of positive momentum to swell the number of top recruits attending the fsu game, have him on-campus to meet with that legion of recruits. With this sort of momentum heading into the off-season and the home stretch of recruiting season, we will be well on our way to a Top 5 recruiting class, and looking good for a successful 2018 season and beyond. Anyway, this is a good day, because today I get to go watch the Florida Gators play football.
