That is the future HC's call. I am not taking a side one way or the other. Fact is, he isn't in the top 20 list for the job. There is zero disrespect in announcing a new HC when he can't possibly get the job. See OSU when Meyer was hired. It wasn't unfair to him and it wouldn't be unfair to Randy.

I understand we all want chip here, but announcing his hiring now isn't so much disrespectful to Shannon because he's auditioning for a job (he knows he doesn't have a chance), as much as it's disrespectful to what he and the other coaches are trying to do with the rest of the season.

Bowl game or not, everyone has been charged with coaching and playing these last two games. Their focus is to win. Anything outside of that, including the hiring of a big time coach, is simply a distraction and I just don't see how announcing Kelly now benefits our team at all. It's a matter of 8 days until this season is over and done. Let everyone focus on winning these last two games, bowl game be damned. This is about finishing with pride. I think Scott wants to beat FSU as well.

I'm not saying it's what we SHOULD DO - let that be clear - I'm saying it's what I think we will do.

Kelly will be announced the Monday after the FSU game. If I'm wrong, that's fine. But I feel pretty confident in this. Its usually how these things are done.

Im no sommelier or anything. I've just tried to try as many IPA's as I can and figure out what I personally like. Total Wine is a good place to do that because of the "make your own 6 pack", ABC has caught on too and allows you to make your own 6er.

I like Two Hearted just fine. Its not one of my fav's but thats just because I tend to favor the super citrusy IPA's.

I'll take a look at the article. I've not read much on beers, will be interesting.

Both incredible beers in my opinion.

 

If the rules for early signings were not changed to be in Dec, then I would agree fully with this. But since that is not the situation anymore, in my opinion there is no such thing as announcing too early, when trying to hold the class together and build momentum for Feb.

 

I don't think you can get it in the USA except maybe in Ohio now but Brewdog's Punk IPA is superb. From Aberdeen. Top, top notch.
