Maybe I am *making a mistake*, but the OBC I know and love, would never stand by as a patsy. He'd be on Twitter, creating separation, and causing a buzz, if Chip was being a dick to/about him. Chip ain't BMOC yet, and as great as he is, I do not see 7 decades of OBC suddenly being checked at the door, and SOS licking anyone's boots, for the sake of 'the deal.' He'd walk out the door in a New York minute, if he thought Chip was disrespecting him, and causing a shitstorm backlash. That's my conjecture.

Yes 400 pages devoted to Chip Kelly is insane. Gator fans get anything other than kelly and they will go ballistic (frost being the only exception). You hire a Mullen or strong after this and that coach has a very narrow margin of error. He has to get the chip thing done now. Chip is interested and wants the job but the guy is quirky af. And yes I’ve been massaging his coconuts on tuesdays and Thursdays so it’s not just conjecture.
If it has alcohol above 5% it automatically gets a 3.....getting above a 4 means i REALLY like it....or I have had too much to drink, the more i have the more likely i am to go higher (if I remember to rate them). I did respond to them and basically told them i am not a huge hoppy IPA fan and that was basically all they brew. I was with my wife's ex and his wife (long story) and they like IPAs which is why we went there.
No the foley and spurrier stuff was said in jest. I agree with you. Spurrier is king here but chip is an alpha too.
I agree actually. Really should have shot down these rumors hard IF it wasn't happening. I would be happy with a few other coaches. Frost, Kiffin, Leach, Campbell would make me pretty happy.
...and we want what they have, and more. Are they on top of the world and winning championships already? No, but they are happy and excited and feeling positive about the future direction of their program. That program-wide (fanbase included) feeling of positivity inevitably percolates all the way down to prospective recruits, and when it does, that's when good things start happening. If we close the deal with the Chipster, I see our Gators together with Harbaugh's Wolverines in the playoffs within 3 years time. Maybe just two.

That speaks to SS, and fan reaction. I was taking exception to the notion that he was bullying UF, including SOS. That part, I don't buy. The tweets and other...[emissions] from Stickerman have been upbeat and positive--which sounds to me, like he's content with the way things are progressing---and SOS isn't causing any kind of shitstorm.. Hence I conjecture that the negotiations are not one sided bullying affair, but rather a matter of hammering out little details. Either way, you answered my question--your sources are Limey's Lovable Gator Club. (Same here, btw, so not knocking you--just seeing if you had some puzzle pieces that I didn't).
