If not today I don't think we would announce on game day. Too much of a distraction. You could even argue announcing today would be a distraction.
For the record, I didn't turn anything down. Discouraged is probably a better description...priorities hey! There's a big boy jet at the airport, probably for the baseball team. Sigh..
It really comes down to if UF agrees to meet his terms (if what we read yesterday is what they are, he's like a damn rock/pop star) and they put the "vetting" of his entourage into warp speed and hammer this thing out. I think the key to this whole deal working is if UF and boosters stop being so cheap like they have in the past and do this thing right. Then it could happen today, but at this point I wouldn't hold my breath. Meanwhile, let's get back to the hunnies and funnies!
