I'm only in my 60's...when was UCLA a great program?

 

Jim Mora's Buyout is 11 million. Can UCLA afford to can him and pay top dollar for Chip Kelly?

Sure but I'm posting rumors. A lot of the info being passed around in here seems to be taken pretty seriously.

I'm a very skeptical person.

The Chip to UCLA thing could obviously be complete garbage. I've read that Vegas listed UCLA as the favorite for Chip as his landing spot but a google search failed to yield me finding that result. If its true, Vegas doesnt normally work off baseless rumors.

I sent a DM to the NFL beat writer to see if he had an update on anything UCLA related that hes heard.

 

He came to that realization before he took the job.

I saw that post and then foolishly ran with it. Then I realized I should actually find the Vegas odds and I googled for them and filtered by last 24 hours and havent found anything

Well actually go google “fifi in jail” to learn what it’s really about. I was a criminal justice major for a while and we all had to keep a straight face in Corrections class when we learned about this from a professor with a straight face.

 

My UCLA /usc/ west coast source believes that Chip will not want to deal with Ca state school system. From what he says they are difficult to deal with, difficult to get $ and support for sports, etc.

 

$12 million buyout for a place with limited passion is a bit steep

 

No, your post I replied to was directed at Bazza. Did you ever consider maybe he's not regurgitating from another site but maybe his source is the same as TOS's? It might just be, "weather" you like it or not.

 

Plus you really think that a guy as introverted as kelly would want to work at a lesser FB school than UF. Where UF is in a small college town (like outzen) and he can bid away from big media and just coach. Plus Kelly isn't a "west coast guy" I just can't buy that UCLA story

 

I may be wrong but I don't think Vegas would even be taking bets on something like this. Maybe some offshore stuff.
