I understand your thought process but I believe Mac just was not the real deal, a bit of a con. Lets be honest, it did not appear he knew anything about Xs and Os, right? I mean, WTF with that guy, right?

Frost is different. Frost is real What we don't know about Kelly vs Frost is how long one would stay and how much energy one would have to compete and win. Frost could be a CK clone with more energy and more dedication. We don't know and could only find out by hiring one then watching, even speculating in hindsight eventually. In some ways I'm more comfortable with Frost than Kelly... by a lot. But either would solve our dilemma in the short run.

Frost could turn out to be a home run. I would take a guy that is close to Kelly in scheme and knowledge that has already been recruiting Florida for two seasons.

The big thing with whomever we hire is his Assistant coaches. DC, DL, secondary. HUGE!!!
