Ahhh Hartsfield. Thats a bit of a different story. I could easily spend half a day, well entertained, just people watching in that place. Sure glad I moved out of that city though.
Are the insiders still as confident as the leaks seem to show a couple days ago? Rumors are quieting down and I'm beginning to lose faith.
I’m in the Chip or Bust camp. I’m sorry it would be an epic fail if we don’t hire Kelly. It would be a Fooley type blunder and would define SS tenure. His hire would always be compared to Kelly. So he would either 1) need to be Saban like and/or 2) hope Kelly bombs wherever he goes (which is unlikely) If SS hires someone else, and he is mediocre, and Kelly does well elsewhere, then we are looking for a new coach AND athletic director in 3 years.

“Insiders” don’t know sh*t. This whole thing is all fake insider board nonsense and fraudulent twitter posts. That is the truth. Once these assholes on twitter realize they’ve been exposed they start adding layers to cover their BS: i.e. Foley colluding with boosters to block the hire or Spurrier interfering with the finalization. That way if it happens eventually they are clear or if it never happens they have a scapegoat as to why it fell through
Ive taken the CK bait. A week ago I was "Frost or bust" but thats only because I didn't think CK was a realistic possibility. I'm all CK, but wouldn't be bummed if we end up landing Frost. I'd have ulcers way before Dec got here but I wouldn't be bummed.
And while they wait with this "process" talk until literally forced to hire Kelly, his price is just going to go up. This could be a textbook case of how not to handle a hiring.
