I think you got it. You just don't agree. Here's what speak volumes to me:

Offensive innovator

He's a proven HC. He's a big name who brings instant credibility. He can sell the NFL to high school kids (because he's been there). He's going to attract quality assistant coaches. And he's known for his ability to score and adapt his offense to his personnel.

He's a home run hire. You don't find guys with his track record available often. This is like Nick Saban, Bobby Petrino, or Steve Spurrier after they failed in the NFL. We've got a proven coach who is willing to come here. Why wouldn't we take that? His scheme is a perfect fit for the talent we attract.
