Maybe we just hear different things...but you sound better informed so I’ll value that. I was talking about him asking why he didn’t succeed in the nfl....but again you sound like you listen more so I’ll take your word.
I just got off the phone with Scott Stricklin. He wanted me to ask you all to act surprised when he announces it. He doesn't want to upset Pat Dooley.
Well he is/was being coached by mentally weak coaches in Mac/Nuss/Shannon. Let's see what Chip Kelly can do with that arm!
New Gator Coaching Philosophy Cooper: "What's the plan?" Kelly: "F'ing score points. What's your plan?"
I've listen to Russel for years. Maybe its fond memories of listening to the post game show on the way home from the games as a kid. He isnt wrong in what he is saying. We have been so starved for offense that no one is asking if Kelly can bring in someone to maintain a legit defense. Was Kelly successful in the NFL, that really depends on your opinion of successful. I would say more so than Spurrier or Saban and we know how well they have done in college and Russel has said as much. I think he is just annoyed with the "Kelly is so great" stuff but in honesty, what has Kelly actually won but a hand Full of PAC 12 titles. That is all he is really getting at. He has never been soft and cuddly but you wouldnt be either if you talked to Finebaum callers daily.
Really? I mean, he is running a multiple read option offense now. He reads his primary receiver in slightly less time than it takes to read War and Peace, looks for the throw option, then throws it into coverage, throws it directly to a defender, or takes the run option. He runs right, trips, and either fumbles or gets sacked. How many more options could you ask a guy to possibly consider on a single play?
