SDS IS REPORTING Report: SEC clears Florida to potentially hire Chip Kelly https://www.saturdaydownsouth.com/f...c-clears-florida-potentially-hire-chip-kelly/
Someone in BenTrill's AO buy that man a beer/whiskey (whatever his drink of choice). Hell, throw the meal in on my tab
1 - Not sure Franks transfers. I recall Driskel looking a whole lot like Franks while he was here. One season with decent coaching and Driskel raised his stock enough to get drafted. Same for Brissett. I also wouldn't automatically pen Corral in from day 1 either. I think all the QBs who stick around into the Spring will be given a chance. 2 - Not sure Kelly is totally committed to the spread offense he ran at Oregon. If you watch the interview with Meyer he says his offensive system is dictated by the talent he has to work with and says something to the effect that if he had the players, he'd run the power-I. I'm not sure he's going to to want his QB being subjected to the same number of hits in the SEC that they did in Pac-12. That said, I think no matter what, his offense is probably going to incorporate some of the spread principles and be based on creating mismatches with speed. I just don't think it will be exactly what he ran at Oregon. But like you, I do think it will be fun to watch.
Just to be cautious: Despite the obvious and redundant signs of fraud, mainstream media outlets continue to treat the Incarcerated Bob Network as a legitimate source. The Mayweather bet is the most recent example. Incarcerated Bob uses these ridiculous, made-up reports to manipulate the media. He then uses the notoriety he receives to sucker sports bettors into buying picks from his handicappers. In doing so, he damages the credibility of my profession and the industry I cover. Plus, I feel bad for the naive bettors who are conned into believing Incarcerated Bob is something he’s not. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Enter a fraud named “Incarcerated Bob.” You’ve never heard of him because he’s a joke who has already been exposed as a complete fraud (you must read this). Every six months, when someone mentions him to me on twitter, I block that person for being stupid. “Incarcerated Bob” attempted to buy credibility by purchasing twitter followers, and when that failed, he started throwing more rumors at the internet, and because gullible people will believe anything, flat-out lies became “well I read it on the internet.”
As long as the scheme includes competent blocking, tackling, execution, scoring, winning and fun then I'm OK with it.
