I guess it could mean several things if there are negotiations with UF or another suitor. Bottom line is if he is the coach that contacted UF and sees himself as a fit here, then its just a matter of time.

I find his yearbook quote to be evocative of Zen philosophy with undertones of Nietzsche's perspectivism as well as a nod to Sartre's focus on the world's indifference to the individual. Because in the end, one demonstrates one's will with one's choices, and cannot escape the consequences: One must walk to work, or one must take one's lunch. One cannot eat one's shoe, nor can one ride on a sandwich.

 

I keep thinking that if the Jimmy Sexton angle is true, all of this flaming smoke with CK might have brought him back to the table with a better attitude. Who knows?

The issue is all the misinformation and how fluid things are. My hope is that if he is the guy, and it's mutual, they knock this thing out now. If not then it is going to be someone else there is no reason to wait on it.

If Kelly wants the job it would be a huge risk to wait till December to see how serious Frost is.

If you can get Kelly now - do it! Don' risk losing him then possibly entering a bidding war with Nebraska for Frost.
