    So you’re saying all you really need is two of the greatest shooters in history, or… arguably the second best player in NBA history and a perennial all star and you can win a ring? Too easy.

    All jokes aside, if I recall correctly Baylor played a lot of small ball the year they won it.

    There’s more than one way to skin a cat. Golden believes a high offensive rebounding rate is an easy way to be good offensively without depending jump shots. And that protecting the rim with length in drop coverage that cuts down on close twos and open threes reduces effective fg%. You need size at the 4/5 to accomplish that.

    They do play hoops Down Under. I remember Andrew Gaze from the 1989 Seton Hall team that lost in the Finals to Michigan. Pretty good player.
