The Magic win, Gator baseball wins and got to see two SEC schools advance in the College Softball World Series. Can see college softball as a growing event through the help of ESPN.

This man thought ok give it a chance, it didn’t take much was glued to the set all day. Those young women like hitting a home run as much as the men do, maybe more. And some of the plays they make out in the field are just outstanding not to mention the games move so quick this seems to compact the action and create more tension.

One of the most dramatic moves was when Alabama’s coach Patrick Murphy in a two-out bases loaded situation took out four-time all American .418 slap hitting Brittany Rogers and went with a freshman who didn’t have a hit in a month.

That left-handed hitting freshman, Jazlyn Lunceford, took a 2-2 pitch and launched it over the left field wall. That put Alabama up 4-2 and they never looked back going on to defeat the defending National Champs Arizona State 6-2.

Alabama went on to send the other Arizona school packing with 14-0 who’s your daddy beat down.

Sandwiched between Bama giving the AA’s the twelve steps back home Georgia sent Michigan home in an exciting 7-5 decision. Taylor Schlopy homered twice in that game, that’s only been down four times in women’s softball series history.  The girl Dogs as a team hit for homers a record for the tournament.

While Bama did in AA (Arizona Schools) Georgia chewed up the M&Ms defeating Missouri 5-2 in game two. The Dogs sent Michigan and Missouri packing, it was a great day for the SEC.

To watch Alabama and Georgia bang in all those runs and think how hard it was on them to get any off of the Gators tells this man something about the Gators pitching staff. Hopefully Florida will win it all, if not as hard as it will be, it would be nice to see the SEC break the ice and win this thing,

The Orlando Magic Won, couldn’t watch just checked on the score, watched the Gator Men’s baseball team beat the Hurricanes 8-2, see I didn’t say scUM. I’m growing as a person! Nice job by Gator pitching closing that game.

It was a great day.

Women’s Softball Update.  Swampie said above how fast moving the games are.  Washington and Georgia are in the 9th inning and have played the longest game in the history of the tournament, even at seven innings.  Washington is in a bind in the bottom of the ninth bases loaded one out.  Dogs win in four hours and fifteen minutes.
