Family

Growing up… we heard many stories in our family about ”Uncle Brother.”

Whether it was his famous sports offer from Connie Mack, his position as the first elected Student Body President at UF, his insistence that the rule of law would hold over emotion, hate, and prejudice, or his service to his country and state… he’s always been a bit of a role model for me in a variety of ways in my life.

On a day like today, though I never talk about him much except to a few who make the connection and ask, it seems appropriate to mention him ... and give kudos to anyone who took the time to vote… and to anyone who involves themselves in public service… whatever and where ever the form that such service takes place.
